AUDIO CENTRAL: Listen to a UF podcast and Urban Meyer talk about recruiting

More fun with recruiting...

Img00062GAINESVILLE -- UF commit William Green is going to be a defensive end, so what does he have to do with the spread offense? Find out on this UF recruiting podcast featuring Mike "On the Mic" McCall and Joe Goodman, this blog's author. That's Joe Goodman in the picture. He's holding a baby alligator. The photographer who took this picture insisted on Mr. Goodman removing his sunglasses. Mr. Goodman would not, fearing the alligator might bite his eye. Gators go for the eyes. Everyone knows this.

Urban Meyer recruiting press conference audio
Florida coach Urban Meyer held a 25-minute recruiting press conference on Wednesday. Here are a few highlights from that press conference.

ON OMAR HUNTER
Omar Hunter (6-0, 322 pounds) is from Buford, Ga. He is apparently a freak of nature. (He can squat 400 pounds and dunk a basketball...at the same time.)

ON WILLIAM GREEN AND WILL HILL
Meyer expects these two defenders to be stars. Green (6-4, 215 pounds) is a defensive end. Hill (6-3, 205 pounds) is a safety.

ON RECRUITING SOUTH FLORIDA
Meyer recognizes the Miami Hurricanes' impressive recruiting class. He also outlines a new plan for recruiting South Florida after the departure of assistant Doc Holliday.
