Surfing the net today and found a few things, plus other news about the Gators...

-A bit of bad news to report. I'm sure everyone has already heard this but former Gator point guard Teddy Dupay is in some major trouble. I feel dirty just writing about it, so I'm not. -Writer Tim Pollack of BleacherReport.com gives five reasons why Florida won't win the SEC. CLICK ME! He lists the typical reasons why some are hating on the Gators.

-ESPN was in Gainesville on Thursday taping a segment for its inane summertime filler, "Titletown, U.S.A." (Or whatever they're calling it.) For a link to the REAL title town, CLICK ME!

-Good news to offset the bad news about Dupay: Florida landed a league-leading 66 freshmen student-athletes on the SEC academic honor roll. CLICK ME!

-More Olympic-related news to report: Former Gator great DeLisha Milton-Jones was named to the U.S. Olympics women's basketball team. CLICK ME! No stranger to international competition, Milton-Jones won Olympic gold in 2000 but missed the 2004 Games after injuring her knee. Congrats DeLisha on another trip to the Olympics!
