Percy Harvin not practicing

GAINESVILLE -- A few hastily written notes on a Sunday night.

--Florida began practice around 7:30 on Sunday night. The team practiced in shorts and Percy Harvin (ankle) rested while the team participated in drills.

--Palmetto defensive end Kedric Johnson committed to UF on Thursday night. It's the Gators' 11th committment for the 2009 recruiting cycle, which includes Auburn, Ala., safety Dee Finley, who did not qualify in 2008.

Johnson, rated a three-star recruit by Rivals, is a speedy 6-4, 215-pound pass rusher in the mold of UF freshmen William Green and Earl Okine.

Kedric Johnson is NOT from Miami Palmetto!

Johnson is NOT from Miami-Dade therefore he is NOT the first UF committment from Miami-Dade since Miami Coral Reef safety Dorian Munroe in 2004....

Do Some Research GOODMAN!!!! u scUMbag.

Goody, Palmetto is a city in Manatee County, Florida, near Tampa.

FYI - Not recruited by the U!

Joseph Goodman, You are an IDIOT!

This guy is a joke... pathetic.

OK, thanks for the heads up, guys. Silly me. That's what I get for blogging from my BlackBerry.

Nice guys..... You guys can sure talk a lot fo smack for a team with a losing record. Your not even in the top 25. Face it, it's over for "the U". Palmetto, Fl or Palmetto Bay, Fl...it doesn't matter..you guys suck, your coach is overated and you don't even have your own stadium...so much for the once mighty "U"...see you in january..oh yea, probably not because you'll be watching from home!

Tough crowd?

Just an FYI........

Lamar Miller the #1 ranked RB in Florida aka South Florida Killian High just excepted a Miami scholarship.

The U now has per Rivals the #1,#9 and #19 back in the country!
