Gators hire quarterbacks coach
Big news tonight, Gators fans. UF announced that former Detroit Lions quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler has been hired as UF's new quarterbacks coach.
What does this mean for the future of Tim Tebow at UF? Will Tebow return now that Loeffler is the new quarterbacks coach? Consider this: New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady considers Loeffler the coach who prepared him to succeed in the NFL. My guess, Tebow was favoring a return to UF next season and this just clinched it.
--In other news, former UF quarterback Cam Newton is transferring to a junior college. Newton was arrested during the regular season for allegedly stealing a laptop computer and he wants a fresh start at a new school. Good luck, Cam. It was nice covering you and Gator Clause wishes you all the success in the world.

GatorAid, he's a great coach.
And, jo, as I've said every single time you've posted anything about Tebow and the NFL, HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. NEVER WAS.
The exact reason this guy was hired was for Tebow.

Craig Howard, who coached quarterback Tim Tebow at Nease High School in the Jacksonville area, told the Sentinel he believes Tebow will return to Florida for his senior season and bypass the NFL draft.
“I think he’s going to come back," Howard said. "That’s the way the book should end.”
Howard said he and Tebow spoke over the Christmas holidays about how Tebow will never get back the opportunity to be the college football icon that he is. Tebow has until Jan. 15 to decide on his NFL or college future. Many scouts have predicted Tebow will be a second- or third-rounder.
"That’s his decision, and the NFL is what it is," Howard said. "But he's the king of Gator Nation right now. Why leave that right now? Very few people get the opportunity to play in the NFL, but very few get in the position he’s in. Young boys have the number 15 jersey on their chests out in backyard wanting to be Tim Tebow. He is Tim Tebow.”
