UF making recruiting inroads at Miami Northwestern

The University of Miami's recruiting stranglehold might be slipping at Miami Northwestern.

Gator Clause spoke with the father of Miami Northwestern junior running back Corvin Lamb on Tuesday and he indicated that his son is leaning towards committing to the Florida Gators. What's more, Lamb also said that several Miami Northwestern juniors would like to play together in college and a few of them are favoring Florida over Miami.

"I believe this class here at Northwestern will change the trend," Lamb, Sr. said when asked about UM's success recruiting The West. "My son has some friends that all want to play football together. A lot of them are not leaning towards the University of Miami. They are leaning toward Florida."

Florida hasn't landed a recruit from Miami-Dade County since 2005.

BUCK THE GAYTUDRS.. THEY WILL NEVER TAKE OVER SF!!!

That's all talk from a bunch of JR's just messing with Florida. The only players from Miami that will go to Florida are player the U doesn't need.

Jo-

Corvin Lamb could be the most overated player EVER. he has done nothing during his HS career to warrant all the attention he gets.

What a rediculous statement!! RB's will not be a priority next year at Miami if this years class is signed as projected!

This blog is a joke! You have had 3 post in 3 hours and all of them are from 'cane fans!

By the way Gibby, "The Curse of Kehoe's Steamer" is wandering around our blogs again wearing nothing but his bathrobe and slippers! The guy sure drools a lot, must be the dementia!

P.S. Thanks for the Seminole duo!!

Go 'canes!!

Of course canes fans, if they sign with us, you didn't want them. Spin it however you like, but there's a new sheriff in town, and his name is Urban Meyer. Enjoy wallowing in ACC mediocrity.

buddy do you understand what running backs we will have nxt yr with bryce brown lamar miller and mike james and they will all be freshman i don't thiink running back will be a high priority at miami for the nxt yr or so plus we do have 2 DL commitied to the U also the qb bridgewater and their top w/r one of the best in FLA talked bout miami being a tough to pass up not to mention we have an o-lineman at miami northwestern that talks bout being a cane don't believe the hype just yet because we have a full yr to see were these kids land kids decommit all the time the same yr they plan on attending the school so miami may not have those kids just like UF may not have the kids just named UF should know you didn't greg reid decommit so its written in stone these kids make their mind up plain and simple until that letter of intent is signed they are willing to say what ever they want

Sarasota 'Cane,

You're the man! Thanks for great the comment.

-jo-

Hey Jo -
How strong do you feel Andre Debose is with his UF committment? Im obviously a canes fan, but I wanted a fan of UF to give me their opinion. He didn't look to happy to be leaving his 2 best friends to go to UF. I have a feeling he may pull a Ramon Buchanon and choose UM in the end. UM being his last visit could be a big factor. Not biased at all here, just a hunch. What do you think?

let's see..2008 Miami was 7-6 including losing the last 3 games...2007 you were 5-7 again losing the last 3 games. The 2007 signing class was very weak. The 2008 signing class ranked 4th with 33 signees (7 with RR rankings of 6.0 or higher - 21%). The 2009 class has only three 6.0 or higher out of 19 verbals (16%).

USC currently has 53% of its 2009 verbals at 6.0 or higher and Florida has 41%. The Gator 2008 class had only 27% but if you include the 5.9 players, we had a whopping 55%.

First of all, the number of high quality players you have is low and more importantly, you gotta be able to coach 'em up. That is Miami's problem and why more and more Miami HS players will be looking elsewhere.

The YOU is done, and it would be good for those kids to go up north to play for a winning team, and a winning coach.

What will you dufuses ever talk about once the Gators close that NC gap?

The BCS is almost as flawed as when you cats won.

All for a playoff. YOU will never be in it.

The truth is that Miami will have 60-70 true freshman, redshirt freshman, and sophmores on their team next year... that isn't an attractive number for an incoming freshman looking to play. The Gators are going to have two small recruiting classes in a row (due to scholarship limitations), and be able to offer early playing time to high school kids with big ego's. Also, if Miami is going to continue to get the top players they are going to have to have a good season one of these years, and until they start getting some quality offensive lineman recruits they aren't going to win.

yeah, yeah, heard all this talk before when Urban first got to UF and said that he was going to focus on South FL, especially Miami-Dade. You see how that's worked out so far...

Keep waiting on those guys from Northwestern. lol...idiots.

No one believes this bs do they? Corvin Lamb and his father just upset because more than likely he won't ve recruited by Miami. Why should he though he doesn't start on his own team now.

Aside from that fact when Florida comes into Dade county and beat us head to head for someone we ACTUALLY WANT, then bring up this bs. Other than that this is a none issue!

I wish we could stop helping Randy Shannon and the Hurricanes more than we will ever know. ;)

GO GATORS!

Why aren't Florida fans posting on this thread? Because we have more important things to worry about than a freaking recruit. You know, like NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Have fun, scUM fans.

Canes are a joke. Fans are a joke. Try to get 30k fans for UNC next time they come to town clowns. How many of you on this blog actually even went to UM? I mean they let anyone in if you want to go in $100k of debt for a 4th tier school on par academically with San Diego St.

Don't worry cane fans (all three of you that show up to games) Shannon will be fired in a year or two, then maybe you can find a real "coach"

R U serious Corvin who? He couldn't carry Bryce, or Lamar jock strap. Tell his daddy to send em to Florida and see what happens. I don't think he had 500 yards rushing, plus Brandon Gainer from Central is a whole lot better than him anyway. BYE LAMB

How many on this thread actually went to scUM? How many graduated high school?

Exactly Mr H.

I think the Gators waiting list for season tickets is equal to UM's total attendance for the season.

You scumbags got a do-over in '96, and lost 3 games in '06! Not exactly "Dynasty" Gaytor fans! I have NEVER heard any analyst claim that one of your teams was the "BEST OF ALL TIME"!

This is by far your best team, and you still lost to Ole Mrs.! What a joke! You better hope you win tomorrow! Lord know's the taxpayers of our great state have a HUGE investment in the outcome!

Go 'canes!

Very interesting:

Utah AG: BCS may violate antitrust laws
By BROCK VERGAKIS, Associated Press Writer Jan 6, 7:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (AP)—Utah’s attorney general is investigating the Bowl Championship Series for a possible violation of federal antitrust laws after an undefeated Utes team was left out of the national title game for the second time in five years.

Attorney General Mark Shurtleff contends the BCS unfairly puts schools like Utah, which is a member of a conference without an automatic bid to the lucrative bowl games, at a competitive and financial disadvantage.

“We’ve established that from the very first day, from the very first kickoff in the college season, more than half of the schools are put on an unlevel playing field,” Shurtleff said Tuesday. “They will never be allowed to play for a national championship.”

BCS administrator Bill Hancock said he couldn’t comment on the investigation until he had seen something in writing from the Utah attorney general’s office.

“We just don’t think it’s appropriate to comment until we’ve seen something to comment on,” Hancock said.
The BCS is designed to pit the top two teams against each other in a national championship game each year. It uses a complicated formula based on human polls and computer rankings to determine who plays in that game, which Shurtleff contends is biased.

No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Oklahoma have one loss each but will play for the BCS national championship Thursday night in Miami.

The Associated Press crowns its own national champion based on a poll of sports writers who are not bound to vote for the winner of the BCS title game. Many fans are clamoring for voters to put Utah—the nation’s only undefeated team—in the No. 1 spot in the final poll.

On Friday, Utah became the first team from a non-BCS conference to win two BCS bowls after it upset No. 4 Alabama 31-17 in the Sugar Bowl. Utah also beat Pittsburgh in the 2004 Fiesta Bowl to complete an undefeated season.

Shurtleff said his office is still in the initial stages of reviewing the Sherman Antitrust Act to see if a lawsuit can be filed. To succeed in a lawsuit, he would have to prove a conspiracy exists that creates a monopoly.

Shurtleff said he prefers that BCS officials and university presidents solve the problem of excluding some schools from a national title game by creating a playoff system, but added he’s committed to doing whatever it takes to produce change.

If a lawsuit is filed against the BCS, though, Shurtleff could end up suing the state he represents. Utah is a member of the Mountain West Conference and Utah State belongs to the Western Athletic Conference; both leagues are members of the BCS.

“We have to determine the answer to those questions,” said Shurtleff, whose planned investigation was reported by the Deseret News on Tuesday. “You determine who it is you’re bringing action against.”

The BCS is comprised of the 11 Football Bowl Subdivision conferences, the University of Notre Dame and representatives of the bowl organizations.

Under the BCS, about $9.5 million is distributed among Conference USA, the Mid-American, Mountain West, Sun Belt and Western Athletic conferences for making their teams available to play in BCS games.

If a school from any of those conferences receives an at-large invitation to play in a BCS bowl or championship game, those conferences get an additional 9 percent of BCS revenues among them, which come from television rights and the bowls themselves.

If more than one school from those conferences make the BCS bowls or championship game, those conferences get an extra $4.5 million for each additional team.

By comparison, the share to each conference with an automatic berth in the BCS—the ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-10 and SEC—is about $18 million each. When a second team from one of those conferences qualifies to play in a BCS game, as the SEC accomplished this year with Alabama and Florida, that conference gets an additional $4.5 million.

“It’s not about bragging rights. It’s a multimillion dollar—hundreds of millions—business where the BCS schools get richer and non-BCS get poorer,” Shurtleff said.

Last time I checked Todd Chandler the best junior on Northwestern already committed to Miami. Northwestern players make regular visits to UM practices as noted Manny Navarro's blog. So I seriously doubt that Miami strangle hold on Norther will end next year or any time soon.

As for Colvin Lamb according to Scout Hosey Williams (Southwest), Brandon Gainer (Central), Jakhari Gore (Columbus), E Clements (BTW)are the top 4 running backs in Miami-Dade County.

So some even though I am sure Urban Meyer would love to start landing the best recruits in Miami-Dade County I doubt Colvin Lamb will end up at Florida or Miami.

Jeeze, Sarasota Cane, you really are a freaking moron. We went 13-1 in 2006. How is losing to Ole Miss a joke? They just creamed Texas Tech. You're a pathetic excuse for a sports fan and have the knowledge of the ant I just crushed on my desk at work. Yes, I'm at work. Unlike you who is probably sitting in the basement of mommy's house re-watching the PAST glory days of the Canes, crying to yourself that you've been leaped by teams like USF and FAU in your home state.

I think that if Florida wants to stay competitive recruiting the state of Florida. Then yes, Urban needs to make better inroads to some if not all the schools in South Fla.

Canes are done! Shannon can't coach a lick and the Robert Marve situation will prove to be his downfall with recruits.
The "u" will be for UGLY when they finish in the bottom of the ACC whatever division they are in, in the All Chumps Conference.
Miami will be relegated to third best in the state, if they are LUCKY.
Go GATORS!
First basketball now football.....
the Championships just keep on coming!

AltCane,
If you read at the top of the page we have not had a Miami-Dade recruit since 2005 and I think we have been pretty competitive. Its true all of us would love to have more Miami kids, but I would not say we need them to stay competitive for recuiting. We only have two Miami kids on the roster right now and both of them really do not play signifcantly. We just need to keep getting quality state of Florida kids whatever county they are from.

SJBUF,

UF must be a 4th rate subpar academic institution like UM, because you guys were ranked 49th in the country and we were a distant 51st... Get real... You A-holes have this superiority complex over that god-forsaken swampland in Gainesville for some crazy reason...

Once future NFL busts Tebow and Harvin are gone, you all will come back to reality...

Canes ACC champs in 2009
National Champs 2010...

You heard it here!!

SEC is Overrated!! The second best team in the conference lost to UTAH...

I know the ACC is down so spare us with the obvious about how weak we were this year... I'm a realist, so use your superior intelligence and come up with some other comeback

GO SOONERS!!!!!!

It's funny to read the CLASSY comments by the Canes here. They sound about as pathetic as the Noles, wallowing in the past, stuck in mediocrity in a crap conference in the present. Your coaching staff is a joke, headed up by Randi Zook. The only "U" that counts now is out in Utah. That's gotta hurt. Enjoy being a footnote and living in the past. That will help you more than you will ever know.

Being stacked at RB hasn't stopped Miami from recruiting RB's in the past...or maybe they could turn him into another LB. Can't wait to see the Cane's faces when Bryce commits to Oregon. The house of cards is crumbling like the memories of the old Orange Bowl.

SEC is overrated? They are the only conference to have a winning record in BCS National Championships. Oh, make that an undefeated record. 4-0. Every other conference has a losing record.

Big 12: 2-3
**ACC: 1-2
Big East: 1-2
Big Ten: 1-2
Pac Ten: 1-1

"I know the ACC is down so spare us with the obvious about how weak we were this year." Why should we spare you that? It isn't this year...it has been a long time that your conference is down. The fact that you get an automatic BCS bid is laughable.

Get a life, root for your own team.

Tim Tebow = Future practice squad fullback

To all the recruits considering UF, just look at their history in preparing players for the NFL... Just last week in the playoffs, Antrel Rolle, Edge James, Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed were making plays all over the field... Don't you all want to be like those guys in the future... UM has playmakers on most NFL rosters... Just watch the highlights every week...

Wow! Sorry about that Gibby! Didn't mean to open Pandora's Box here. I just wanted to comment on your article about MNW! Good luck tomorrow night. Did I really just write that?

On a side note about who went to what school, the Gators have BY FAR the most fan's who have NOT attended their university than any other school in the state. It's not even close. FSU would be second. My mailman is a Gator, my butcher is a Gator, every white construction worker is a Gator, YOUR Congressman for the district encompassing your campus is a Gator, etc. None of them went to
UF! They simply love YOUR team! What's wrong with that??? Your school has no problem taking their money when they buy your merchandise/tickets/pay-per-view, etc.

Sarasota 'cane!

Good day to you to Kehoe's Steamer! What are you doing posting on a Gator Blog??? Huh?? That's odd!!

Another factually incorrect statement, Sarasota. The people you are talking about are front runners that live in this state and, therefore, are rooting for the state's school, which is Florida.

But if you're talking about people who claim they are die-hard fans of teams that never even went to the university, scUM is the king of them all.

I have to agree with Adam on this one. Sarasora Cane, you are wrong. Most of the Canes fans I have met in Miami have never went to school there or anywhere else, ha, ha!

Your all gay

Wow, you gotta be glad ND didn't fire Weis. Next season when he gets canned and they come calling on your "new sheriff in town" you will want Meyer's head on a stick. Meyer is at UF until the Irish come a calling!! Enjoy the time while it lasts..........

Who cares if a fan went to the school they root for? That's just a stupid argument! I didn't graduate from Miami but I'm from S. Fl and I root for Miami! Do you think only alumni root for Florida?

Hmm, I would hope Florida would have more fans/alumni

Basic math:
UM Enrollment around 14,000
UF (what are you up to that you accept anyone from the state of Florida???) 60,000??

even FSU math majors can figure out who will have more alumni/fans

LOL,
RANDY HAS BUILT A FENCE AROUND SOUTH FLORIDA.

AND NORTHERN FLORIDA..

WHATS UP RAY RAY AND DYE....

GAYTURD FANS ENJOY WATCHING A REAL QB PUT UP 60 ON YALL.. KIDS IF U WANT TO COME TO A SCHOOL THAT WELL GET u PREPARED FOR THE NFL THEN COME TO MIAMI. IF U WANNA RUN A NON QB DEVOPLING SPREAD JOKE OFFENSE THEN GO TO FLORIDA..

BRADFORD= NFL POKET PASSER
mCcOY = NFL POKET PASSER
STANDFORS= NFL POKET PASSER
TEBOW = 3RD ROUND TIGHT END

MIAMI 28
FLORIDA 26

MIAMI 5 RINGS
FLORIDA 2 RINGS
DAMN, ITS GEAT TO BE A CANE

ANOTHER THING LOL HOW MANY GATORS GOT ARRESTED THIS PAST YEAR. ONE FOR BEATING ON A WOMEN ANOTHER FOR DISCHARGING GUNS AND ANOTHER FROM STEALING CREDIT CARDS FROM A DEAD BODY, oH YEAH AND WHAT ABOUT THE BACK UP QB WHO STOLE A LAPTOP.
URBAN MEYER IS A JOKE... GREAT STANDARDS TO LIVE BY.

*STANFORD
*GREAT

Name says it all.

What is the difference? Either you went to the school or you did not! How many of the Notre Dame faithful went to ND? Florida has a HUGE fan base. I would guess it is 10 times larger than Miami's. More than 1/2 of those fans never attended the school. The big difference is that Miami has a national following that rivals the big state schools fan base.

The games are broadcast on public airwaves, and as a result you get a lot of fans who never went to the college. You think the schools care when they are cashing the merchandising checks? Hell no! You think the BCS would be paying 18.5 million if the only fans watching the games attended the universities? Hell no!

When I lived in Colorado Springs, eveyone went to the Air Force games! I was in the Army at the time! The Air Force Academy was the home team, and everyone supported them!

It is popular to hate Miami. Some of it is deserved, most of it is just piling on. Marve was the last player arrested on our team (Oct '07). The Gators have kids playing for them tomorrow that should still be in jail for their crimes! What's the Gator arrest count this year up to this season 10, 11? I mean c'mon, shooting an AK-47 into the air while drunk should get you expelled!

I've been where you are three times now. What goes up, always comes down. Coaches take better jobs, you have to fill the position with a sub-standard replacement. Eventually the whole thing implodes, and you have to start all over! There is no way around it, and money cannot fix it! Enjoy the ride Adam S., it won't last!

Go 'canes!

The thing is U have to look at it from a gayturd fans perspective. It took their team 15 years and 7 tries to beat Miami. Now thats a long time and in that time they had to see brock berlin come back and beat em in a bowl game. They also had to see most of our guys go to the NFL and make names for themselves while the former gayturds continue to ride on NFL benches. See miami has had so much success that we know what a down year is and IT CAN'T KEEP US DOWN BECAUSE we also know what being on top of CF feels like. This is something new to gayturd fans.. So gayturs fans enjoy Ur success for now but just know..

BEEN THERE DONE THAT
GO CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Canes, your head coach Randy Shannon has a longer rap sheet than any of our players: Felony burglary, Resisting Arrest, Theft, etc. Take your holier than thou crap somewhere else!

LOL UR A FUNNY MAN KEHOE

You don't believe me? Here's a link:
http://www2.miami-dadeclerk.com/cjis/CaseSearch.aspx

Search for Randy Shannon under defendant's name and you might be surprised. And, if you think it's not him then check the birth date. Your coach is a former felon.

WOW the YOu seems to post here quite a bit. Must be the throws of death. You guys just fight at the stadium, and lose on the field.

GO GATORS...YOU r done

Sarasota, you're the one making these arguments, coming here and hating on the Gators. I have no problem with the Canes, just their scUM fans like you.

And for whoever mentioned the Meyer-to-ND thing, Meyer's not leaving until all of his kids are out of the house. Considering his youngest is in middle school, I'd say we have at least 4-5 more years before he goes anywhere. You don't think someone from ND contacted him before they decided to keep Weis another season? Common...

And again, this is an example of you changing the argument after you've been proven wrong or ignorant.

Enjoy continuing to be mediocre.

OMG DanMullensHairPiece, THAT IS SPECTACULAR!

A felon!

It's really not a surprise, this has been well documented in stories about his life, but UM fans don't even know anything about their head coach, let alone UF. I have no problem with second chances, but don't spout off about our players when your coach has skeletons in his closet.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/09/04/shannon0910/

I am sure most UM fan's are familiar with this story. It brings up a lot more arrest in it than what was posted here.

My point was not to make fun of Shannon, just to point out the hypocrisy of some of these Canes posters. Shannon was able to turn his life around and look where he is now, a head coach of a major D! program. So think before you post about our players being in jail instead of on the football field. For some of them, without football, they might be headed down that road or worse.

Another nightmare had begun. The arrest charges and the trips to court kept coming. Look, Randy pleaded to the district attorney, it's my brother -- he's stolen my identity. Couldn't they see the difference in their pictures? Randy was the one with the scar, the dent Pee Wee had put in his head swinging a curtain rod when they were kids. At last Randy received a blue document with all 10 of his fingerprints to verify his identity, one he must carry everywhere to this day and have renewed every three years ... and still the charges poured in. Seventeen in one bench warrant that arrived in the mail just as he was about to leave for his second and final training camp with the Cowboys, forcing him to arrive late, infuriating Johnson. And still, whenever Pee Wee got out of jail, Randy would take him shopping, deck him out in new clothes and shoes for a fresh start ... then retreat behind the firewall that had saved him, the one he'd teach his players to erect.

Is this the "Randy" you were talking about Kehoe, I mean DanMullensHairPiece? You're right, it is well documented. His brother stole his identity. Randy Shannon has never been arrested. Unlike half the starters for your team!

Adam, you are such a little girl! I came on here to refute Gibby's article about UF making inroads into Miami-Dade, and the next thing you know, you're tampon falls out, and all heck breaks loose! I never said Meyer was going to ND, I said the majority of ND's fans have never been to Indiana! I said you only have 3 fans on your message board! I said no one will ever confuse any of your championship teams as being one of "the greatest of ALL TIME"!

What goes up, always comes down! You'll figure it out little guy! I know this is your first time around a championship program. You can tell by your writing style. You don't know anything BUT winning! It's a fun ride till it ends...and it always ends! Savor it!

ADAM S.

u ARE THE BIGGEST IDIOT I KNOW. KEEP LISTINING TO WHAT KEHOE HAS TO SAY.. LOL iF ANY OF U WERE SMART, U WOULD KNOW RANDY'S OLDER BROTHER GOT ARRESTED ALOT OF TIMES AND USED HIS LITTLE BROTHERS NAME WHICH IS RANDY SHANNON. WHICH IS WHY RANDYS OLDER BROTHER LATER GOT ARRESTED FOR IDENTITY THEFT. RANDY HAS NEVER BEEN ARRESTED. KEHOE UR IN IDIOT TOO. KEEP HATING ON MIAMI THOUGH...

OMG DanMullensHairPiece, THAT IS SPECTACULAR!

A felon!

OMG ADAM S. NOT ONLY OUR U A D*** RIDER, BUT YOUR ALSO DUMB. GREAT WAY OF SLURPING ALL ON KEHOES NUTZ WHEN HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE FACTS TO BACK UP THE LIES HE JUST TRIED TO PUT OUT.. ADAM S U JUST AGREED WITH THE BIGGEST LOSER ON THE INTERNET COKECANES AKA CANESRULE AKA KEHOE AKA POWER DUMB AKA WHAT EVER NAME HE USES ON ALL THREE MIAMI BLOGS. SO WHAT DOES THAT MAKE U. LOL AND GOOD LOOK WITH BRADFORD TOMMOROW. SIKE I KNOW HE'S GOING TO KILL YALL. MAYBE NEXT YEAR IF TEBOW STAYS U GUYS CAN HAVE UR FIRST UNDEAFETED SEASON EVER.... LOL

Ur point is U have no point. Hurricane blog stalker....

"The spread offense is a joke," dude, get a life.

I didn't slurp anyone or agree with anyone. I thought it was hysterical he pointed out a hypocrisy in all of your postings.

I like how you can sit there and be a keyboard tough guy, calling me names, when not only am I better educated, more intelligent and more informed than you, but I actually have football knowledge and know what I'm talking about.

All you scUM fans do is come around here, running your mouth talking garbage and having NOTHING to back it up. I'm surprised you haven't killed yourself already after another crappy bowl game and a loss to boot. In fact, that's my response to you: KILL YOURSELF. Do us all a favor and jump off a bridge.

Later Gator hater.

P.S. - Keep talking crap instead of providing facts and reasonable conversation/arguments, considering that is all scUM fans are good for. You really represent yourself and your school well. LOL

I long for the days of intelligent arguments with fans from other SEC schools and even some of the guys that have been coming on rooting for Oklahoma.

I long for the days of intelligent arguments with fans from other SEC schools...

That was a joke, right???? He He You'll be "longing" for a long time on that note!

P.S. - Keep talking crap instead of providing facts and reasonable conversation/arguments...

Posted by: Adam S. | January 07, 2009 at 09:15 PM

Didn't you and Kehoe just make up a false report about Randy being a criminal???? Way to talk out of your arz there Adam! You are such a puzzy! I guarantee your fellow students hated you at UF, what with your "advanced knowledge" and all! Ha Ha Anyone who has to say they are smart, aren't!

Go 'canes!

UF 26-3 scUM thats all i have to say.
take what you can get from dade county because its not working

take all the trash you can get.

Sarasota, you're making things up. I LAUGHED at a post Kehoe or whoever that person was made. That doesn't mean I "made a false report." TALK ABOUT TALKING OUT OF THEIR ARZ. I'm a p-ssy? Dude, you're STARTING and TALKING tough on a message board.

"Anyone who has to say they are smart, aren't." You mean, "Anyone who has to say they are smart, isn't." Don't you?

Again, get a life. When you want to have an intelligent argument, I'm here and will be glad to talk to you all day. Crawl back into your mama's basement where you came from.

You really are a pathetic SOB.

It's amazing that every single UF blog that I go to is overrun with more comments from angry/bored/depressed UM fans than Gator fans. It must be a at least a 2:1 ratio.

Go Gators. Win big at Dolphin Stadium. God knows the Hurricanes never will.

ADAM S,

NO BODY FEELS SORRY FOR. I DONT NEED TO KILL MYSELF. U ARE THE ONE WHO REPLIED AND FELT LIKE U HAD TO EXPLAIN URSELF BUT THE FACT IS WHO CARES. KEHOE IS AN IDIOT GOING ON DIFFERENT MIAMI BLOGS WITH DIFFERENT NAMES AND UR THE IDIOT WHO AGREED WITH HIM BEFORE EVEN DOING ANY HOMEWORK. HOW QUICK WHERE U TO JUMP ON THE "RANDY WAS A FELON" BANDWAGON. OH YEAH AND BEFORE I FORGET, THE FACTS ARE THAT YES MIAMI LOSSED TO FLORIDA 26-3 THIS YEAR BUT WINNING 6 OUT OF THE LAST SEVEN SOUNDS REAL GOOD TO ME. THE FACTS ARE THAT MIAMI LEADS IN OVERALL SERIES 28-26. THE FACTS ARE THAT MIAMI HAS 5 RINGS AND U ARE TRYING TO GET UR THIRD. THE FACTS ARE MIAMI PLAYS A MANS GAME IN PRO STYLE AND URBAN PLAYS LIKE A GIRL WITH HIS SPREAD. THE FACTS ARE URBAN MEYER HAS RAN A PROGRAM FULL OF FELONS. HOLD ON WAIT A MINUTE DIDN'T UR RECEIVER SAY SOMETHING ABOUT U GUYS BEING THE REAL U. I'D SAY HE WAS CORRECT UF IS THE NEW THUG U.

O yeah and if there wasn't any um fans on here today then it would be like 5 post on here. This blog is always dead. lol Goody should be paying us.

Agreed? I laughed. Nice twist-job. You should work in the media. I don't know Kehoe, don't know his past, don't know your problems with him. Also don't care.

I also don't care about "doing my homework" on Randy Shannon. You know why? I have a National Championship game to worry about. I don't need to worry about his felon or non-felon record. He's a crap coach.

By the way, talking in all caps? So 2001. What a coincidence, that's the last time the Canes were relevant!

Your points are absurd. You lost your bowl game to a crap team. We will have our five rings before you have your sixth, making that argument irrelevant. Miami plays a "man's game" and "pro style" and that somehow makes them better? Is it a "man's game" because you like to swing your helmets and get in fights with other teams? Because you haven't been in a legit bowl game in years? Are you kidding me?

Enjoy continuing this thread scUM crybabies. I'll be enjoying a great day of beautiful weather, cold beer, hot chicks and a National Championship game at Dolphin Stadium. Wait, isn't that where you play your home games? What a shame that the most important and best college game that will ever be played on your new home field is a Gators game! Later Gator haters.

For the rest of the UF fans here: Go Gators!

Oh, and yes, you do need to kill yourself.

Goody won't need to be paying UM fans to post on here for a long long time.

I thought your program might have been turning around this season, but then UM got on its knees and finished 7-6 (.500 in conference play mind you).

That final drive vs Cal, the Pac-10's 4th best team (debatable), was the cream.

You can talk all you want about UM putting players in the NFL, but what has Shannon and the current staff done in terms of development, let alone putting together a non-laughable game plan?

UM will continue to recruit great talent just like ND does, and will probably see the same results... UNC beat ND by 1 point more than it beat UM. The similarity is uncanny.

We will have our five rings before you have your sixth, making that argument irrelevant.

that is not a fact adam s thats a dream!!!

How come your not addressing the facts i layed out for U adam s.

You'd probably call GTech's offense girly too. Only one of those teams had similar caliber players.

Miami plays a "man's game" and "pro style" and that somehow makes them better? Is it a "man's game" because you like to swing your helmets and get in fights with other teams?
ADAM S

lol know adam s ur kidding urself. i see u brought up the little kiddy fight miami had but didn't address why so many of urban meyers players are in a jail cell. thats funny in hockey they fight all the time its cool in baseball they have all out Brawls so a fight that started because fiu tryed to bully a um kicker compares nothing to the 5 "reported" incidents involving the uf football players.

HAS ANYBODY RESPONDED BACK TO U?

LOL KEEP HAVING AN ARGUMENT WITH URSELF.

None of Urban Meyer's players are in a jail cell. I don't need to address the points you make in your B.S. posts because they are completely irrelevant and mostly either incorrect or absurd. Nevertheless, I did address them. By dismissing them.

The question is, why do you chose to ignore my FACTUAL posts all throughout this thread? All you do is respond with crap.

Again, I DON'T CARE about scUM. You guys are irrelevant. Stop living in the past. Live in the now.

I repeat, for the last time on this thread:

adam s u didnt agree ha? So when u state "A felon"
who are u talking about?

I think u were talking about randy which means u agreed idiot. lol and i dont have to hide behind a computer. After u loss tomorrow you'll still be down here ill let u let out ur frustration.

Enjoy the game tomorrow everyone. Here's hoping for a Gators victory and continued supremacy in college football! Take care.

It's an exclamation of surprise. I didn't say "wow, you're right, he's a felon."

Reading comprehension is very important.

adam s,

so your saying florida doesn't have a problem with their student athletes getting arrested. Isnt that NOW.

adam s ,
would u agree that the spread offense doesn't develop qb's and was a offense made to combat the teams with great athletes.

You can't let me go, will you? Now you're asking legit questions, will be happy to answer.

Recently Florida has had issues with the behavior of their student-athletes. However, our coach has also handled these issues to my satisfaction by removing players from the team or giving them fitting punishments. Of course there is the argument that better players get less harsh penalties. But that is not uncommon in the world of college sports and happened just as often at UM or Michigan or any other school that has gone through a similar phase. It also has NOTHING to do with the ability or performance of the team.

The spread offense does not develop QBs as well as a more pro style offense. However, again, that argument has nothing to do with whether or not Florida is a good football team. Running the spread does not make them any less deserving of their wins, awards or titles.

These are issues being brought up to try and diminish what Florida has accomplished over the last few years. Instead of concentrating on how the team plays on the field and what they have accomplished, you are trying to nitpick things that do not make the program perfect.

No program is perfect. I could say that Georgia runs a more pro style offense fitting for QB development and that Notre Dame doesn't have any off the field issues. But they both sucked this year.

In the end, what we are all discussing on here is winning championships and what is happening in 2008/9 and what will be happening next year. There is no reason to diminish a team's accomplishments because of the missteps of a player here or there. These player's NFL futures do not matter either. And the ability to produce NFL players is irrelevant to whether or not a particular college team is good.

Hope that satisfied your questions. Good night.

Well, Good Morning, whiny little biatches called Canes. Did you have sweet dreams last night, dreaming of PAST success? Or did you have the nightmares of the PRESENT haunt your sleep?

I hope ya'll enjoy watching the #1 team in Florida play for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP tonight. We will, especially knowing that the whiny thugs called scUM will be rooting for the other team-the ONLY way Miami could see the Gators lose, since they aren't good enough to be there themselves. Of course, you weren't even good enough to play for the lame ACC championship, either, now were ya?

Enjoy the game, biatches!

To answer the question posed by a venom filled impostor claiming to be a gator, I graduated from UM, and just for the record, there is no school called scUM, unless you plan on being the founding father of such a school.

I really try to tell myself that there are about three gator fans who post such vexations about other schools, but sometimes it really seems the entire gator psyche has some how been badly damaged by the small private school they show such disrespect to on a daily basis.

Did ya enjoy watching the game? Did you enjoy watching the greatest college football player of all time lead the Gators to their third National Championship in the last 12 years?

We did.

"Some teams play for championships and other play for emerald bowls" - Urban Meyer, 2007

Who would have thought that comment would apply to more than one school in Florida?

UM Vinny, the scUM smack talk is only brought out by the venom spewed on this GATOR message board by UM fans. It is a two-way street. Just like life. The best way to make it stop? Don't talk B.S. smack to us.

I am a beginner in internet marketing. I don’t know much about it but I am searching around for material that can expand my internet marketing knowledge.
