GAINESVILLE -- University of Florida football coach Urban Meyer has suspended Florida walk-on Marquis Hannah from the team following Hannah's Friday night arrest for breaking and entering and misdemeanor battery.
"[Hannah] is not part of this team until the issue is resolved," Meyer said on Saturday afternoon. Meyer was in Orlando on Saturday for a booster club and alumni association fan rally.
Hannah, who starred at Miami Carol City in 2005, walked on the Gators football team in 2007. He was bonded out of the Alachua County jail on Saturday.

Nice play on words Jo! If Meyer could suspend someone from Miami, I think he should have suspended Jacory Harris!
Awesome blog!
