Watkins, Trautwein sign contracts

GAINESVILLE -- They didn't get drafted but it didn't take long for former UF lineman Jason Watkins and Phil Trautwein to find NFL homes.

Watkins agreed to a free-agent contract with the Houston Texans shortly after the draft on Sunday. Trautwein did the same with the St. Louis Rams. Watkins started at right tackle for the 2008 national champions. Trautwein started at left tackle.

Three Gators were drafted over the weekend: Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings), Louis Murphy (Oakland Raiders) and Cornelius Ingram (Philadelphia Eagles).
