HOOVER, Ala. -- The SEC Media Days who-done-it search will continue until Friday.
Georgia coach Mark Richt, Alabama coach Nick Saban and Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt both said on Thursday that they voted for Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow as the preseason All-SEC first-team quarterback.
"I think that's what everybody else said so far," said Richt with a smile.
Richt is correct, of course. Seven coaches down and seven votes for Tebow. That leaves four coaches: Auburn coach Gene Chizik, LSU coach Les Miles, South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier and Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin.
Both Richt and Saban praised Tebow, calling him an excellent leader and a top-flight quarterback. (Saban discussed Tebow and the NFL and I'll post that a little later.)

Whomever did not vote him #1 will certainly not admit it now.
At first I thought it couldn't be him, but I'm agreeing with Rivals radio host Bill King and with Adam S. that it could very well be Spurrier.
i hope it isn't, something as petty as that will cause an unecessary dent in his image to the fans. To be fair, one could ONLY interpret tht move as petty jealousy, pure and simple.

1. Houston Nutt
2. Spurrier
3. Kiffin
That's my order for who I think did it. Nutt wants to make a statement and stand-up for his QB. He probably figured it would not harm the outcome. It's like Spurrier giving Duke a preseason vote every year in the coaches poll. Which is another reason why Spurrier might be the guy. I missed that on Bill King this morning.

Well, looks like i was wrong according to Jo's twitter update.

My list:
1. Spurrier
2. Miles
That's it. If Chizik did it, he's just a moron. And if Kiffin did it, he's a liar. Not that it would be any surprise.
