Florida Gators media day is here; Important questions will be asked!

Brown GAINESVILLE -- The University of Florida expects about 150 reporters to attend today's media day, which will take place at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the Touchdown Terrace. Many questions will be asked. Here's one I'll be asking.

"Hey, freshman defensive tackle Gary Brown. What's with the pantyhose on the dome? Medical condition? Religious belief? Regretful panhandle fashion sense?"

I'll kidding aside, Brown is a monstrous freshman. He's listed at 6-4, 275 pounds, but he looks to be around 300 pounds (at least!). (Side note: On the first day of practice, I looked out at the defensive line drills and saw No.95 and thought Torrey Davis was back on the team. Brown is a beast. Way bigger than UF sophomore Omar Hunter) He had 26 sacks, 114 tackles and 20 tackles for loss ... as a junior! He attended Greensboro West Gadsden and in addition to defensive tackle, Brown was a pitcher on the baseball team.

Can't wait to get to know this kid.
