UF commit Trey Burton is on your TV, maybe

By MIKE McCALL

If you have ESPNU, flip it on right now. UF quarterback commit Trey Burton's Venice High team is facing off against Chesapeake Oscar Smith High and Alabama quarterback commit Phillip Sims. Game kicked off at 7 p.m., and I'll have a post up later tonight about how Burton fared.

Venice quarterback Trey Burton and his Indians lost to Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith 27-13 on Friday night in a nationally televised high school football game.

Burton, who is committed to the Florida Gators, completed 16 of 28 passing attempts for 276 yards. He also rushed for 78 yards on 23 carries.

I had to turn it off. I kept yelling at the Venice defense. They need some better coaching.
