Florida Gators Andre Debose undergoes surgery

GAINESVILLE -- Florida Gators freshman receiver Andre Debose underwent surgery on Thursday to repair a torn hamstring tendon in his left leg, according to the University of Florida sports information department.

The surgery was performed at Shands Florida Surgical Center in Gainesville. According to UF, Debose is expected to make a full recovery in four to six months. Debose, who graduated from Sanford Seminole, was touted as the next Percy Harvin by Florida coach Urban Meyer but the freshman injured his leg last May while running track for his high school.

Debose will likely receive a medical redshirt this year, which will allow him to retain four years of eligibility.

Hate that for him and wishing him well!

Goody, how bout dem Canes! That's a PRO O the recruits love and the NFL needs!

Hey Alan! Just got home from the game. You know, the game you watched EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF!

If the Golden Cane Club @ Dolphin Stadium is not the best place to relax before a game, I don't know what is! Wayne put 250 LARGE into upgrades, and it shows! I had the chicken! Hey, if you have to ask, YOU probably can't afford it! (Actually it was "free" for Golden Cane Club ticket holders!)

Ha Ha

Now go prepare for THE WORST Tennessee team to hit the field in years! Of course you'll cover fool, the line is only 30! You should be ready, having played THE BEST Charleston and Troy teams to hit the field in years!

Remember, the Tennessee team you will play on Saturday is THE WORST Tennessee team to come out of Knoxville in YEARS!

Did I mention that the Tennessee team you will play on Saturday is THE WORST Tennessee team you have faced in years? Congrats!

P.S. Looks like the LSU and UGA teams that you have been pumping up on your "Greatest run of all time tour", are also THE WORST teams those schools have fielded in YEARS!

Nighty Night "D" Bag!

Go 'canes!

apparently GT stinks pretty bad too
should have lost to clemson at home
shelled by miami, beat a nobody

LSU is a pretty decent team. Better than ANY team in the ACC. If you are measuring them by Vandy...um didn't Vandy beat the ACC runnerup BC in a bowl last year?

Yeah Miami is starting well but guys like you make them continue to look stupid. And FYI there are many more Gators that can afford ANYTHING than Canes. Look at the money in OUR program. Can't you just PM this Alan guy the drivel "that you don't even believe" and actually talk reasonably on this board?

Is LSU better than Miami? Hard to tell right now. I'd say no and definitely no if Miami can tighten up a few screws.

-jo-

LSU?? Their QB sux's! He's an athletic kid who can't pass, you don't win with a QB like that. Miami is better, but there is a long way to go!

I predicted a 9 win season and to go 2-2 in the first 4 games??

"Yeah Miami is starting well but guys like you make them continue to look stupid"

ko classic

Mr. KO, you have been making the Gators look stupid for a long time! Yes, I remember all the crap talk from you on the U blog.

ko, that was an inside joke for Alan. He knows! Alan is always complaining about the mythical $14.00 chicken sandwich at our house! I've never seen it, but maybe they jacked the prices when UF played there! I could care less how much money anyone has!

What I do know is that we can produce a comparable product, in a rented stadium, 30 miles from campus, for almost half the price. Now who looks stupid?

P.S. Show me a better pregame facility than the Hurricane Club @ Dolphin Stadium. Maybe USF has something similar at Raymond James, but there is no way it is better!

message to all canes: please refrain from commenting on this blog... in other words, stay classy cuz vt and okloHOma are still on the schedule. This blog shows no love to
Miami, so in turn we should ignore this blog. Still, Jo does a great job of giving the gators living in south Florida a voice, which is good because everybody deserves to voice their opinions, no matter how distasteful it is. Anyways, canes, pleas keep quiet and when the time comes, we will be ready. In Shannon we confide.

Joe, whats up man. I know its early but what if the UF v. UM for team of the decade actually happens?

I'll be in Pasasdena.
