BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Florida Gators and LSU Tigers have combined for eight penalties (65 yards) in the first quarter and a half.
Florida benefited from LSU's five penalties (four defensive false starts, one personal foul) to take a 6-0 lead. The Gators' defense returned the favor with a pair of personal fouls that led to LSU's first score of the game. UF leads LSU 6-3 with 5:16 left in the first half.

Just kidding on the typo. Got a little confused on the 6-3. Tebow pulled a sick nasty scramble for 8 yards that should have been a sack about 3 times. It appears he isn't having any symptoms thus far. Meyer was asked on the way to the locker room at half if they have limited Tebows runs...Meyer said yes. Doesn't Tebow pretty much run the offense and can run when he wants to? Tebow makes him Meyer look so good, it's ridiculous.
