More gators in jail that should surprise no one. This arrest is 28 in Urban M. tenure I believe. Gators not nu# 1 football but should be in college arrest for div 1 football.

Hey cane drag queen, everyone knows there are no UM fans in Pa. Nice try douchebag.

Hey Gator Douchebag, SI to do article on Gators in Jail and in trouble with the law. Upper 1% Meyer? The Gators should wear their Alachua county Jail uniforms when they play. It would easier to identify the players.

What a laughing stock the Gators have become. I hear they are renaming "the swamp" to the WAFFLE HOUSE in honor of Urban Meyer. LMAO

Does Ray Lewis or Sean Taylor's arrests count against Miami's #? If not, this one doesn't count against ours. Wondy is a FORMER Gator player, not one on a current roster.

Worst part about this to me is his family. Like THEY need to be worrying about their SON right now.

Yeah those Gator really are a joke.

Kind of like your team Frank. Here's a coupon for a plastic surgeon, get your face straightened out.

I agree, Gators blooooow

Gators play in a chump conference

Gators are soft.

Dang -- I hate it when I write articles like this for SI!

This is a former Gator now - it doesn't count!

Congress should ditch the pursuit of a playoff and dismantle the SEC. They've one 6 of the 12 BCS titles. I smell a rat!

That is tooo funny. Typical gaytor drivel. Your program is OUT OF CONTROL and the NCAA is lurking in the shadows. Its not if but when the hammer will fall!

Like the hammer fell on the canes when they got caught in that maaaasive pell grant scam in the '90's.

...a key got stuck...s key broke..

Thank your players for the situation Urbans in with his mental health. These thugs are going to be the death of him. The only reason he flip flopped on resigning was to save the recruiting class. Adazio will be coaching this team next year and will go 9-4 at best.

The SEC in football reminds me of the ACC in basketball. Trust me, I know.

Yes. And the way the hammer fell on the gaytors under Pells watch. You remember that dont you gaytor doosh. Floriduh had to vacate their first SEC championship!

...a key got stuck...s key broke..

Posted by: G-man | January 19, 2010 at 10:52 AM

No its your brain thats broke......

I also remember the 66 recruiting violations the canes got spanked for -- recruits from which built that '83 team. If memory serves me the time frame of the Pell grant scam coincides with the '89 - '91 players. Nice tainted titles! Oooohhh I said taint!

Hey, yo! Don't fo-get the players on my payrow in da 80's. Dat taints da '87 one too!

Last time I checked the 89-91 ships are still on the books for the canes. Floriduhs first SEC title. Not so much.

Cheating not-withstanding.

You gaytor fans are so funny. When cane fans talk about titles won were living in the past. When I bring up the gaytors CURRENT troubles you bring up the canes PAST. So whats it gonna be. One thing for sure is the hammer is gonna fall on the gaytors sooner than later.

Still counting that shared title as your own eh? So are we. This is great, just like 3rd grade field day, everybody plays and everybody wins!

Cheating not-withstanding.

Its only cheating when you get caught. A gaytor fan of all people should know that.

To bad the NCAA dosent. But hey that vacated title looks good hanging on the wall of your trailer.

OK MCH at least you've come to grips with your tainted titles. You've taken the first step, the other 11 steps will be much easier now.

Really? Take A look at the canes blog at the sentinel as we type. Your boy kehoe is there 24-7 spewing his hate. Kind of comical really.

It's a shared title, why are you ashamed and in denial? Lot's of teams have shared titles. Nothing to be ashamed of. By the way the NCAA does recognize it as shared, more importantly the history books and the sports writers recognize it as such.

Dude, expand your fact gathering beyond the 30/30 docu-drama.

Like canes rule, sarasota cane and gigi? This is grown-up world buddy, there are jerks everywhere. If you can't ignore the inciters on both of these blogs, then you can't deal with life.

Get your thumb out of your mouth and stop crying for crissakes.

Now if the gaytors can come to grips with the destruction of their perfect season courtesy of the curb stomping ALABAMA gave you the world will be A better place.

We will know October 2nd when we play in Tuscaloosa. How many NC teams on your schedule lately?

Dude your reading coprehension sucks. Where did I say I was ashamed of any title the canes won shared or not. And I was pointing out you dont just do it on "your" blog. When did you buy the Herald anyway?

Sad

By the way, how does it feel living vicariously through a contendor on this blog this A.M.? When we are done with the rhetorical jousting here (yawn) you'll have to retreat to your drab pedestrian, middle of the pack team in your middle of the pack conference.

Oh you did not just go there! How about OKLAHOMA last year and Ohio state this season. Those are out of conference games by the way we dont have to play them we choose to. Whats the gaytors toughest OOC game this year Troy State.

Choke-lahoma and the Luck-eyes. When have they won anything in the last very-long-time?

Actually I am going to take the boat off the lift and see if I can catch A few redfish while sipping on a corona. Dont forget to cover the tires on your "mobile home" woudent want them to dry rot before the next "move".

Besides, you have to play those games to stay relevant. UM is like the old broad that used to be hot but is now old and gross and no one pays attention to anymore. Guys like you prove this out by inciting anyone and everyone that will listen.

Most cane fans are not jerks like you so they realize this -- once you start winning again with regularity (which could be soon) UM will be sexy again.

No Miami plays those games because they like to play the best win or lose. If the gaytors are so much better than the canes why not play them every year, beat them , then have something to crow about. They wont do that because UF has only beat the canes one time in 27 years. Let that sink in for A moment.

He is still on scholarship at UF. He has not graduated, well that can be said of 75% of gaytor players, so it is relevent.

"His girlfriend attempted to change the language of her sworn complaint and told a judge on Tuesday that Pierre-Louis did not threaten her."

FREE WONDY !!!

Judge No Lest,

No.1: -jo- is not my name. -jo- is a substitute for the journalistic standard -30-, which means the end. On the stories I send into the sports desk, I end them with -30-. For the blog, I end it with -jo-.

No.2: This is not irrelevant. Hate to tell you, but it's more relevant than anything I do. A journalist's job is to keep track of things like player arrests, cheating, etc... It's called watchdog journalism and it's the first tenet in The Miami Herald's mission statement.

No.3: If you're not concerned with the large number of arrest and misdeeds of the Florida football team, then you're not really a true fan of the program. Just my opinion.

No.4: I've been to plenty of gay clubs and never once received a DUI. As a general rule, the crowds that populate gay clubs are smarter than the average bear. TA-xis, hello!

No.5: I'm not judging anyone. I'm reporting facts here on this blog post. You're the one being judgmental. When I begin writing opinions about Gator football, trust me, you'll know it.

No.6: You don't like me? Oh, I'm so sad. That breaks my heart in so many places, because you KNOW I write this blog to gain as many anonymous well wishers as my big ol' ego can stand.

-jo-

OTD - I don't disagree with the nobleness of UM scheduling the OOC games that it schedules. My point is, what's the use when you lose to middle-of-the pack teams later on that not only take you out of NC contention but take you out of conference contention.

By the way Jo -- I dig your blog. Perhaps you could talk to the guy doing the canes blog and give him some ideas to keep these enraged, jealous canes fans from coming over here and crapping on this one -- a daily cryptoquip or word jumble maybe?

Hey Cane losers, Miami plays in a basketball conference. They need to schedule tougher games on paper which don't always turn out to be tough. Who did Miami play this year? A 6 loss Sooner team? A GT team that got beat by a bad Georgia team. College football is played at its highest level in the SEC. Who has dominated college football during the BCS era? The SEC. Check recruiting ratings. Which conference gets the best players? SEC.
Canes suck. If Miami and Florida played every year you would have a 6 game lossing streak right now just like FSU does. Miami can barely beat Duke. UNC owns Miami. Miami is a team of the past. 3 star recruits and Randy Shanningans won't change that.
The big public schools caught up to Miami. It was just a matter of time. In 10 years FIU will be the premier football school in Miami. They have public money, a campus stadium and fans that will actually show up to the games. All the pieces are in place. UM is done and has been for 6 years.

This is a nice fantasy of yours... just look at the games which have been viewed by the most television viewers.. recently. One team seems to keep coming up a lot - the U. But, live in your own little world and do not let the facts get in the way.

Well I guess we will never know because Floriduh doesent have the balls to play Miami every year do they kehoe? Cant say as I blame them though. One win in 27 years says A lot.

If shannon is such A bad coach as A gaytor homer I would think you would want him to coach the canes forever. I think kehoe knows whats in store for college football in the next few years. If only the gaytors had the balls to play the canes on A regular basis.

Posted by: Is 2013 still on | January 19, 2010 at 01:49 PM

Hey kehoe, You never answered my question on the other blog. You know the one you stalk 24-7.

Well I guess we will never know because Floriduh doesent have the balls to play Miami every year do they kehoe? Cant say as I blame them though. One win in 27 years says A lot

You Know which Gator win I remember, 27-3 in 1983. Miami's so called first dominant championship. You got your butt handed to you by Florida. You needed your coach to cry so the Canes could be voted champions.

Why doesn't miami have the balls to play in a football conference??? Why pick a basketball conference if you are a football school????

You guys talk tough but just as long as the majority of your games are played in a basketball conference.

OTD -- I know that the "play-us, play-us, please play us" thing is in the canes fan manual, but get a grip on your envy for a moment. To put perspective on the history behind the canes/gators not playing each other, check out SI issue from Sept 13, 1982. The Gators were looking to dump the canes back in the 70's and early '80's, for the reasons given in the article. If we wanted easy wins we would have put you back on in the mid '90's and played you each of the last 7 years.

It would be time well spent for you and your cane brethen to read the article (yes I said read, don't just look at the pictures). Funny reference to Jim Kelly and his interview with Dick Schaap (the t-shirt reference).

Posted by: Donna Shalala | January 19, 2010 at 02:46 PM

U know what Cane win I remember kehoe. The one we took your reject QB put him under center and still beat you. Or was it the beatdown in the sugar bowl. I dont know so many to choose from.

OTD -- good one. I was at that game..a Ron Zook special. What a venue, where else could you get frog-on-a-stick, crack, and a quart of Olde English 800 outside the stadium and tetanus from the seats inside.

Posted by: G-man | January 19, 2010 at 02:47 PM

Envy, well lets see.

5>3 Ships

26>25 HTH

3>0 undefeated seasons.

Yea, were green with envy.

No envy here....your past deserves props. Too bad you're everyone's beatch now.

This is not the forum to tell us about your drug and alcohol problems G-man. Now I know where your twelve step reference came from.

True story, my girl friend had to get a tetanus shot from the frickin' cut she got on the bleacher seat.

Dont you mean from the crack pipe she was smokin?

Hey DAFUCK U do they know who killed Brian Patta?

....what ever dude. Before this deteriorates into a my-dad-can-beat-your-dad up thing (which is where I think your heading), read that SI article and work on that envy (get a puppy?).

Good luck brother!

See ya punk!

Speaking of punks, Wisconsin oh man good job canes. Hey Randy you keep developing those players. Great hire guys we love Randy.

Speaking of Wisconsin, the most enduring image of the 2009 candy cane season is that of McCarthy laying FLAT ON HIS BACK in the mud after getting TRUKKED by John Clay. His legs were fully extended straight up in the air with his toes pointing at the moon.

Flat out ran him over.

Medi-vac some protein shakes over to Greentree ASAP...Stat.

"Finally, there are whispers that Shannon will be fired and replaced by Whipple should Whipple decide to stay with UM. Whipple is actively seeking a head coaching position and has stated that he would give heavy consideration to becoming the top man at UM. "I do have aspirations, I do want to be a head coach, he told Steve Pullon. We've got a great head coach right now but college football is crazy and there is no telling what will happen." Whipples remarks come on the heels of rumors that Shannon is on the hot seat. In less than a month the Hurricanes have been embarrassed in the Champs Bowl by an overpowering Wisconsin team, have seen multiple recruits decommit and take verbal shots at the coaching staff, and have seemingly lost their recruiting coordinator Clint Hurt to new head coach Charlie Strong at Louisville. UM football has struggled on the recruiting trail in this cycle and have signed some prospects that have raised more than a few eyebrows...."

There are also rumors that UM is being investigated by the NCAA.

Goodman tell your Herald cohort Navarro to ease up on his blog patrol. Ever since he shut the comments down all the scUM trolls are over here with their nonsense.

Three absurd years of hearing what a great recruiter he is because he got the NW package down the street to walk into an empty depth chart. Now that was recruiting BRILLIANCE. Jump ahead to 2010 with a LOADED south florida and what has Ramsey done? Makes you wonder if he tells recruits about Shagargoyle and Lil Coldcut's conversations where they discuss the new priorities for the football program?

Mighty quiet on the Ramsey contract extension front during this crucial moment in recruiting.

Poking U with a stick wouldn't be so much fun if you weren't STILL running that laughable NC smack. But thankfully it has been reduced to just a whisper by just a few blind tards.
