Robert Kraft sighting at the O'Dome

GAINESVILLE -- Fresh off of his team getting bounced in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is here at O'Connell Center for tonight's men's basketball match-up between the Florida Gators and No.2 Kentucky. Kraft is friends with Billy Donovan and Urban Meyer.

ADIOS Lane Kiffin...

We hardly knew you. And we're all better off as a result.

Jo, didn't ANYBODY want the USC job?? Lane Kiffin??? I'm speechless...

Leach to the Vols ?

Could Kraft be in Gainesville for a secret meeting with Meyer?

Could Belicheck be retiring/resigning?

If college football causes Meyer headaches and chest pains, pro football (going to Kraft's Patriots) would be a sure death sentence.

On a serious note, I beg anyone to find me a worst player than Dan Werner? Seriously, how is he even on a Div-1 team, let alone a starter? Airball after clanker, cannot play any defense, can't even box out on a free throw (responsible for Kentucky's 5-point play). I really feel sorry that Florida has to play virtually 4 on 5 every time he's on the court.

If you can't stand the heat you're ass oot of the Kiffin. Good ridance the west coast is past my bedtime I hopefully won't have to see him as much. What a douche!

Gators put up a fight tonight, but they were like men against boys - Wall Patterson Cousins - animals, big ass boys. Tyus played his ass off, and I really like Walker, he's 100% all of the time. I think this UK team, unfortunately, is going to be very very hard to stop this year.

Jo, I love it that all these Tennessee blowhards who were defending Kiffin are now ready to kill they guy. But ... when they calm themselves, they will realize that successfully hiring any of the candidates bandied about thus far - Muschamp, Cutcliffe, Patterson, Peterson - is a step up from Kiffin.

USC just hired their Ron Zook ...

yeah tough game tonight against UK. it was competitive for a little while, but UK is just a better team. I miss the "gator boys" bball glory days lol

Under Armour All-American and four-star outside linebacker Michael Taylor (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) told the Orlando Sentinel he was decommitting from UT upon learning that Lane Kiffin was leaving to USC...

... and just before midnite last night he commited to the Florida Gators.
