Tim Tebow continues marketing circuit with trip to Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH -- Tim Tebow appears to be Gatorade's new marketing prince.

The sports drink franchise paraded Tebow around in his underwear last week in Fort Lauderdale for the Super Bowl. This week, Tebow is in Daytona Beach for the Gatorade Duel. Florida's former quarterback will be grand marshal for the first race of Thursday's Gatorade Dual. Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is the grand marshal for the second race.

When exactly is Tebow going to begin focusing on the Draft? Maybe he knows something we don't.

Its hilarious that Tim Tebow has to parade himself in underwear and pull in every favor he can to gain even more attetnion.
THE GREAT WHITE HOPE LOLOL. He IS focusing on the draft, these are his predraft workouts LMAO. Maybe gatorade, the only thing with long term success from ufelons, should mix som of timmys urine and blood in a new drink and call It "HOPE 2B PRO" or "ALL HYPE". Yet ANOTHER QB BUST from the gayturds. lolololol

Yeah UM has a bunch of successful QB's that played in the nfl...Dorsey, Wright, Walsh, Torreta, Kosar. Only good qb that played in the nfl is Kelly and he was a big choker. Soon the pimp Jacory will be added to the your prestigous list. Miami sucks.

lol Donna. Vinny was an F'in joke. Tried to push down the ball carrier on one of his last career pick six throws. It's football you mumbling idiot. Put a hat on the guy.

Still more succes than Ufelons at QB and just about every position with maybe RB being close because of emmit(quality vs quantity). Name Just ONE former UFelon QB that was great. U forgot tedaverde Yeah are QB's havent been elite but still better than yours lol. Next?

Oh yea Shane matthews and Danny wurful and Rex pickforsix grossman awesome players lol and if U actually knew Football! U'd know miami has the most elite players at all the diffrent positions

KOOOLLLLLLLLLL AID IS PRESENT ALL THROUGH SOUTH FLORIDA!!!!

I will admit, I used to be the biggest Tebow-hater around. I celebrated when Tim Tebow lost that SEC championship and I loved seeing him cry (at the time). However, as Tim Tebow, approaches the draft, the hate for him has reached a ridiculous level. As far as being critical of Tebow's throwing motion and accuracy, fine, I can deal with that, that's a scout's job. But to verbally degrade someone as a person, to wish injury upon a person, to question the character of a man, who chances are is a much better man than you is downright WRONG. We take our football more seriously than our wars, we celebrate our team's victories more than our own, and we care way too much about details of celebrities than we do the chapters of our own lives. Our society is pretty pathetic if you ask me, and it is a culture we are all at fault for building. It takes a special person to change the world, and a lot of GREAT people paid the ultimate price for it. I am not saying Tim Tebow is Martin Luther King, Ghandi, or Jesus. He is just a guy who is very good at playing football. But he is an even better human being. People need to take a hard look at their own lives before they shakedown Tebow's. When is the last time you helped someone for free? Tebow made an anti-abortion ad, yet he was more heavily criticised by the media than Donte Stallworth who KILLED somebody. KILLED! It's us who needs to get our priorities straight, not Tim Tebow. My team will always be the Miami Hurricanes, but I hope Tebow finds a lot of success in the NFL, because apparently his success at being a good person is not enough.

A Cane Rooting for Tebow

Well said Matthew S.
