GAINESVILLE -- Freshman strong safety Jordan Haden is transferring from Florida, according to his father, Joe Haden Sr.
In a text message on Monday morning, Haden told the Miami Herald that "Haden will be transferring." Florida has not granted the transfer yet, according to Haden Sr., but he said he and his son "are working on that today."
Haden was a highly regarded piece of UF's 2011 recruiting class and rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com. He's also the brother of former UF All-American Joe Haden.
"When asked why his son is transferring, Haden Sr. said, "No hard feelings. Florida is a great program and we love them. It just wasn't the best fit for Jordan."

Congrats guys! I hear the National Championship game this year will have a spelling bee at halftime -- guess that's the only way an ACC team will play that day!

we give you credit for 2 1/2 titles

Imagine that. Utah went undefeated. Freakin Utah! The gators have been playing for 100+ years and have not accomplished it. Not suprising seeing they did not win their first conference championship untill the 90s.

Definitely not the UF Independent Athletic Association which is self-sufficient and NOT dependent on the SUS for its funding.
Yeah the same IAA that funds scholarships from its surplus every year.

Hey clown...let me try nad explain to you and Donna that you didn't buy shyt...the taxpayers built that dump called Benny Hill. It's the equivalent of a yard sale relic. If you have SOOOO much money from idiots buying face flair and RV passes, then give the state back some of the money you ripped off...then folks might respect FU...maybe. And another to wrap your small brain around, the Orange Bowl was never "our stadium". It was always owned by the City of Miami you tool. We leased space there just like we currently do at Sun Life. 2 Pro Stadiums beat the crap out of one rotten cement shythole anyday. The only advantage you have is you can briskly walk to Waffle House for cheese grits after Nicky guts you open...again.
So keep writing your clueless brain farts on our blog and we'll keep laughing at you for the complete morons that you are. 5>1 chumps, as 2 of yours were beyond tainted...they were gained by cheating and luck.
Posted by: your FAU and FIU disguises are childlike | August 18, 2010 at 01:41 PM
Tricky issue to address -- that stadium - even trickier for a dolt like yourself from a program with no experience in these matters. The history of that stadium goes back way beyond my and your lifetime (20's, 30's, 40's?). I'm sure the original incarnations were built with some mix of state/private money (bleacher seats?)or not...do records go back that far? The IA and private endowment took care of the current modern form.
Not sure what the "ripped-off" money comment is about -- certainly not the same as the Pell Grant rip off of the Fed Gov't that scored you a hefty probation in the '90's.
I'm sure you in cane nation feel "ripped-off" for not having your own stadium. Maybe invite Schnelly back to finish the job he started way back when.

Let me see if I can hold your hand and help out on that "understanding" issue:
1.) no, we don't give a crap about the place we ball, just the chance to compete. It's apparently some feeble attempt to feign superiority over UM by you dumb clucks. The fact they use FAU and FIU handles in writing some of their idiotic post only underscores the issue...if those 2 loser commuter schools have on-campus stadiums like FU, then how special can it really be? BTW, have you been inside Sun Life during a game? Didn't think so. It's a PRO stadium for a reason, and one of the very best. What kid wouldn't want to see their highlight on the massive HD jumbotrons? Benny Hill does have gaytor jerky on a stick at the concession stands, so you do have us there.
2.) "Schnelly" as you refer to him, DID get the job done you tool...UM's first of 5 National Championships. That's no misprint...I said 5. Remind me again of how many FU have? Hello? Speak up! (((crickets)))
3.) Remember this Turd, whenever you mention the word Pell, you are kicking the door open to one of, if not the most, storied cheaters the sport has EVER known in Cheatin' Charlie Pell...need I say more? Huh? (((crickets)))

1 – Just don’t eat the food (or let your kid eat the food)
2 – Schnelly got the train rollin’ and made everyone want to cheer for him. Of course the sentiments changed with the Colorado brawl, the ch!mp out against UT, and the FIU brawl (‘now that’s what I’m talkin’ about’). Not the proudest moments for his legacy.
3 – Cheating? Remember your seminal (that’s first, by the way) moment with the 69 NCAA violations in ’81? Of course you don’t.

Q: How many years did FU compete in the SEC before they won a conference championship?
A: 59
Q: How many years has UM been in the ACC?
A: 6
Q: Was Miami in a conference prior to the 2004 season?
A: Yes, the Big East from 1991-2003
Q: During those 13 years in the Big East, was Miami ever the conference champion?
A: yes...9 times. There has never been a college football team in history that has dominated a conference the way UM did.
Q: Did UM ever win a NATIONAL championship during those years?
A: yes...in reality 3, but they are officially only credited for 2. One was stolen by a corrupt referee after the game had ended with UM victorious.
Q: What affiliation did UM have prior to 1991?
A: From 1942 - 1990 UM was an independent. Amazingly, they competed against major powers from all conferences during this time, ducking no one, all the while compiling winning records against them all while still winning an additional 3 NATIONAL championships against all odds.

OK, Ok, you're right playing all those Bear Bryant coached 'Bama teams, Pat Dye Coached Auburn teams, Vince Dooley coached UGA teams, and dealing with all their national championships and heisman trophy winners, not to mention the Manning brothers certainly pales in comparison to facing those tough big east teams (Rutgers and....shoot I can't even think of who's in the Big Least).
Against all odds -- not on the field (see above). The empty stands, weak endowments, bus travel that's symptomatic of a school that does not deserve or appreciate D-1 football.
