Highly regarded freshman recruit transferring away from UF, according to recruit's father

GAINESVILLE -- Freshman strong safety Jordan Haden is transferring from Florida, according to his father, Joe Haden Sr.

In a text message on Monday morning, Haden told the Miami Herald that "Haden will be transferring." Florida has not granted the transfer yet, according to Haden Sr., but he said he and his son "are working on that today."

Haden was a highly regarded piece of UF's 2011 recruiting class and rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com. He's also the brother of former UF All-American Joe Haden.

"When asked why his son is transferring, Haden Sr. said, "No hard feelings. Florida is a great program and we love them. It just wasn't the best fit for Jordan."

Congrats guys! I hear the National Championship game this year will have a spelling bee at halftime -- guess that's the only way an ACC team will play that day!

SEC = Domination

Spelling Bee at halftime....LOL

Utah was undefeated with 18 first place votes in one of your tainted titles so
we give you credit for 2 1/2 titles

Imagine that. Utah went undefeated. Freakin Utah! The gators have been playing for 100+ years and have not accomplished it. Not suprising seeing they did not win their first conference championship untill the 90s.

Open Letter to Angry Canes Guy:

Definitely not the UF Independent Athletic Association which is self-sufficient and NOT dependent on the SUS for its funding.

Yeah the same IAA that funds scholarships from its surplus every year.

Hey clown...let me try nad explain to you and Donna that you didn't buy shyt...the taxpayers built that dump called Benny Hill. It's the equivalent of a yard sale relic. If you have SOOOO much money from idiots buying face flair and RV passes, then give the state back some of the money you ripped off...then folks might respect FU...maybe. And another to wrap your small brain around, the Orange Bowl was never "our stadium". It was always owned by the City of Miami you tool. We leased space there just like we currently do at Sun Life. 2 Pro Stadiums beat the crap out of one rotten cement shythole anyday. The only advantage you have is you can briskly walk to Waffle House for cheese grits after Nicky guts you open...again.

So keep writing your clueless brain farts on our blog and we'll keep laughing at you for the complete morons that you are. 5>1 chumps, as 2 of yours were beyond tainted...they were gained by cheating and luck.

Tricky issue to address -- that stadium - even trickier for a dolt like yourself from a program with no experience in these matters. The history of that stadium goes back way beyond my and your lifetime (20's, 30's, 40's?). I'm sure the original incarnations were built with some mix of state/private money (bleacher seats?)or not...do records go back that far? The IA and private endowment took care of the current modern form.

Not sure what the "ripped-off" money comment is about -- certainly not the same as the Pell Grant rip off of the Fed Gov't that scored you a hefty probation in the '90's.

I'm sure you in cane nation feel "ripped-off" for not having your own stadium. Maybe invite Schnelly back to finish the job he started way back when.

My spirit escaped hell for a moment to polish this National Championship Trophy that my alma mater won in 1991 -- that'd be U-dub to the historically challenged out there!

It's OK son, someday when you're all grow'd up, you'll a stadium all your own!

Just like UF, FSU, FIU, FAU, etc., etc.

Let me see if I can hold your hand and help out on that "understanding" issue:

1.) no, we don't give a crap about the place we ball, just the chance to compete. It's apparently some feeble attempt to feign superiority over UM by you dumb clucks. The fact they use FAU and FIU handles in writing some of their idiotic post only underscores the issue...if those 2 loser commuter schools have on-campus stadiums like FU, then how special can it really be? BTW, have you been inside Sun Life during a game? Didn't think so. It's a PRO stadium for a reason, and one of the very best. What kid wouldn't want to see their highlight on the massive HD jumbotrons? Benny Hill does have gaytor jerky on a stick at the concession stands, so you do have us there.

2.) "Schnelly" as you refer to him, DID get the job done you tool...UM's first of 5 National Championships. That's no misprint...I said 5. Remind me again of how many FU have? Hello? Speak up! (((crickets)))

3.) Remember this Turd, whenever you mention the word Pell, you are kicking the door open to one of, if not the most, storied cheaters the sport has EVER known in Cheatin' Charlie Pell...need I say more? Huh? (((crickets)))

2 Pro Stadiums beat the crap out of one rotten cement shythole anyday

What? The OB was the cesspool of cesspools – in the middle of a cesspool! Obviously this guy never left Miami-Dade for anything in his life, let alone a football game.

That's right, the famous OB, also home to the UNBEATEN MIAMI DOLPHINS...the ONLY pro team to accomplish that feat. Also home to the NCAA RECORD 58 game UNBEATEN home winning streak. These things are beyond the mental capacity of an Alachua County resident who's scope of reference is Zaxby's and Waffle House. Dear God you're pathetic...

1 – Just don’t eat the food (or let your kid eat the food)
2 – Schnelly got the train rollin’ and made everyone want to cheer for him. Of course the sentiments changed with the Colorado brawl, the ch!mp out against UT, and the FIU brawl (‘now that’s what I’m talkin’ about’). Not the proudest moments for his legacy.
3 – Cheating? Remember your seminal (that’s first, by the way) moment with the 69 NCAA violations in ’81? Of course you don’t.

Hope pinhead doesn’t show up at the foot of your bed tonight for dancing on the grave of a dead guy! Karma is a beatch with the clap!

Like I said, you need to get out more home slice!

Posted by: consider yourself 'schooled'...again.

What a douche. Do you think all UF students are from Alachua? You bring up the 'fins like there are no South Floridians who attended UF. Don't throw in the 'fins (or the Heat cause I know it's coming.) Gainesville is a college town and Miami is a metropolitan area with pro teams and tourist destination so of course its going to be better. I live in Miami Beach like many other UF grads. Get over yourself. Get back to me when you win the ACC Coastal at least.

What's this Cane guy doing here anyway? Shouldn't he be selling Snicker bars on Miracle Mile raising money for the UM athletic department?

Every time he sells a snickers bar he throws up a 'u'.

What is your point?

No one is arguing with you Miami vs Gainesville. I lve in Miami Beach.

UF is just better, face it. You canes live in the past.

The City of Miami is also better then Austin, TX and Tuscaloosa, AL but that doesn't hurt their recruiting, does it?

Hey Canes, congrats on finishing 40-something, your highest showing in anything the past decade! With your new found mojo, perhaps you can build an on-campus stadium like us!

Face what? Better how? 20-1 prof-to-student ratio compared to 750-1 with an adjunct in an auditorium? Beautiful Coral Gables versus Trailorville? A higher ranked education by any measurement and 5 NC's vs. 3? We may relish the immediate past, but at least we have one. You, my misplaced Turd, are delusional.

Are you that dense? Chances are you didn't attend UM. I respect U grads who are my neighbors and work hard. They aren't on the Gator Clause berating the gators with redneck, trailer, and hick slang all day.

I'm sure this dope went to Keiser College (notice I didn't say graduated from), pulled for the seminoles when the canes stunk, and (now) gets jacked up about the canes like the rest of the guys on the construction site. He obviously hasn't left Miami-Dade his whole life, hence he was reared on the cane-kool aid.

@angry cane guy -- I'll take 3 snickers bars...how much?

You can't possibly respect anybody when you clearly don't respect yourself. Abuse by Daddy early on? Bummer.

SEC...4 Str8 National Champions: 6 of the last 12.
ACC...Not one National Champion since '99; to make matters worse, it was lowly FSU.

UM, make it to an ACC Championship game before you break out the same, lame, haggard jokes..Urban on Prozac? Come on, Randy looks like a mentally challenged adult out there...no wonder they haven't won 10 games since his tenure began.

I should hire you for my cut & paste staff. I need all the help I can taking small snippets of time and trying to spin that into a colossal manipulation of the long term facts. I hate it when people say there's alot in common with global warming and Turd football. So what if 5 > 3...there's glaciers melting out there!

Q: How many years did FU compete in the SEC before they won a conference championship?

A: 59

Q: How many years has UM been in the ACC?

A: 6

Q: Was Miami in a conference prior to the 2004 season?

A: Yes, the Big East from 1991-2003

Q: During those 13 years in the Big East, was Miami ever the conference champion?

A: yes...9 times. There has never been a college football team in history that has dominated a conference the way UM did.

Q: Did UM ever win a NATIONAL championship during those years?

A: yes...in reality 3, but they are officially only credited for 2. One was stolen by a corrupt referee after the game had ended with UM victorious.

Q: What affiliation did UM have prior to 1991?

A: From 1942 - 1990 UM was an independent. Amazingly, they competed against major powers from all conferences during this time, ducking no one, all the while compiling winning records against them all while still winning an additional 3 NATIONAL championships against all odds.

I'm sure he sets off the fire extinguisher outside the can so he can run through the smoke after runnin' a batch.

Got a kick out of the first one above -- workin' the Big Least was like pushing old ladies over at Publix.

Regarding the second one a little melodramatic hunh "against all odds"?

Just here to remind the historically challenged about my alma mater winning that 1991 NC.

Hello everybody, have you read my article about how DOMINANT the SEC is? Here's the link:

With all that new-found-wealth and what ever you guys say you "won", perhaps you can build an on-campus stadium and be number 988!?

According to USA Today the Gators had the 4th toughest schedule, Utah had the 56th. Undefeated playing such a weak schedule means nothing. 3 titles - 3.5, we'll pass you very soon.

Got a kick out of the first one above -- workin' the Big Least was like pushing old ladies over at Publix.

That's better than pushing wheelchairs aside in an old folks home against cripples like Vandy, Ms St, Ole Miss and all the other crappy teams in the SEC you underachieved against for 58 frickin' years!

Regarding the second one a little melodramatic hunh "against all odds"?

Not really...remember, you're the fools always chirping that we have no stadium, no fan support, no money, NCAA sanctions, coaching round robin, buses to games, etc., etc., etc. Those seem like pretty long odds to me. Need I go on tool?

OK, Ok, you're right playing all those Bear Bryant coached 'Bama teams, Pat Dye Coached Auburn teams, Vince Dooley coached UGA teams, and dealing with all their national championships and heisman trophy winners, not to mention the Manning brothers certainly pales in comparison to facing those tough big east teams (Rutgers and....shoot I can't even think of who's in the Big Least).

Against all odds -- not on the field (see above). The empty stands, weak endowments, bus travel that's symptomatic of a school that does not deserve or appreciate D-1 football.

Georgetown is in the Big East!

I'm sure he sets off the fire extinguisher outside the can so he can run through the smoke after runnin' a batch.

Let's see, if memory serves me, when the Canes were in the Big East they rolled up to Trailorville and put a beat down on Rexy and the Turds...remember that? I do, cuz I was screaming & hollering all 99 yds of the interception your Gross Man delivered. And the next week we did play Rutgers, and you know what, they put up twice the fight you did. You would have finished 5th or 6th in the Big East that year...at best.

I remember when you rolled into G-ville not so long ago and rolled out 0-1. I also remember the beat down LSU put on you not so long ago, and funny, I remember the canes last game in the OB too..OUCH!

I also saw the video of you on youtube trottin' through the mist after jerkin'-the-mckerkin in the can.

OUTSTANDING

that's some weak shyt teach...you're in over your head in this game

I remember when you rolled into G-ville not so long ago

..and they should, that was the NC game last year and they deserved to win.

We've been a few NC games lately, how about you?
