REPORTS: Five additional Gators suspended vs. Toledo

Florida will purportedly be without star cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy and four reserves against the Toledo Rockets today (12:21 p.m., SEC Network).

Citing unnamed sources, Gatorcountry.com first reported the suspensions of Pufifoy, junior-college transfer defensive tackle Darious Cummings, redshirt freshman offensive lineman Quinteze Williams, sophomore wideout Latroy Pittman and freshman defensive tackle Jay-nard Bostwick for unspecified rules violations. The Gainesville Sun later reported the suspensions.

Linebacker Antonio Morrison is also suspended for the opener after multiple arrests this offseason

UF has not confirmed the latest suspensions or returned messages seeking comment.

Florida confirmed the suspensions of Purifoy, Pittman, Cummings and Williams. No word on Bostwick.

During Wednesday's SEC teleconference, coach Will Muschamp said no player other than Morrison would miss the opener due to a suspension.

Well Jesse, if all I recruited were known thugs and gangsters then I wouldn't return any messages either...i'm just sayin

Gee, suspend them against Toledo, really, inmates running the asylum at UFirstdegreemurder.

What's the matter, you need every advantage you can get cane fan? You know you can't beat the Gators at full strength, so you're pissed that they only got suspended for Toledo? At least they got suspended for a game, unlike Golden who makes you sit out a practice!
