Prognosis negative

GAINESVILLE -- No. 14 Florida point guard Kasey Hill did not break his left ankle and X-rays revealed no further ligament damage, the school announced Tuesday.

Hill sustained a high-ankle sprain early in the second half of Florida's 67-53 win over Southern on Monday night.

The freshman point guard will likely miss a month of action, but Tuesday's negative X-rays quelled any further potential damage.

Hill attended Tuesday's practice on crutches.

On the season, Hill was averging 10.3 ppg., 4.25 apg. and 2.25 spg.

A shorthanded Florida team -- without Hill or suspended point guard Scottie Wilbekin -- hosts Middle Tennessee State on Thursday evening.

Jesse, a word on semantics, when the prognosis is negative that means bad news. What I get from reading your piece is that you mean that the X rays were negative and that is good news.
A more accurate headline would be: X rays negative, prognosis good.
Just a technicality, you are The Man.
Go Gators!

You're right JLS. I was just trying to do a funny play on words. No worries tho.
