
As Vice-Chair of Equality Federation, Stratton will help lead the efforts of a national coalition focused on promoting and strengthening state-level organizations with a commitment to equality and justice for LGBT Americans.
“From marriage to adoption to safe schools policies, the most important campaigns for equality are happening in the states, and the Equality Federation is a tremendous resource for ensuring every state’s LGBT organization is strong and effective,” said Stratton.
Stratton’s election comes just a week after Equality Florida’s Board of Directors named him Deputy Director. He formerly held the dual titles of Statewide Field Director and Assistant Executive Director. The new title was intended to recognize Stratton's continued and growing role in guiding the organization, both across the state and at the national level.
