Christian Family Coalition Announces Rainbow Coalition to Lead Effort to Approve Florida Marriage Amendment
MIAMI, FL - Today, the Christian Family Coalition announced a rainbow coalition of human rights leaders who will lead the effort to pass Amendment 2, the Florida Marriage Amendment on November 4th.
"This historic vote to protect marriage in Florida is NOT a right-wing or left wing effort, it is not a Republican or Democratic initiative, and it is not a black, white or hispanic campaign, it is part of a greater global effort to preserve and protect the time-honored sanctity of marriage involving a broad coalition of multi-ethnic human rights leaders who have joined their hearts and their hands for this historic referendum to protect our families, our faith and our basic freedoms" stated Anthony Verdugo,

The Rainbow Coalition consists of the following human rights leaders representing the broad ethnic diversity in our community:

Jesse Jackson called. He wants you Bible Thumping Homophobic Zealots to pick another name. The original Rainbow Coalition was an organization that fought for equality and against discrimination.
LGBT Community-see what this group is doing? They're adopting a common symbol of the gay community and using it to confuse voters.
Would Jesus be so underhanded and deceitful?

The true christians are people who reflect the love of Jesus Crist without prejudice and hate to one another. In the scriptures, Jesus never against homosexuality nor gay marriage. Closed minded homophobic people use Sodom and Gomorah as an example that God against homosexuals. That is WRONG. What happened in Sodom Gomorah was the damnation of criminals, perverts and rapists. And The Apostole Paul condemned the unnatural sex, which is misinterpreted by closed minded homophobic people as condemning homosexuals. It's WRONG AGAIN. What is natural? If I was born as a homosexual, that is natural, and if I am forced by closed minded homophobic people to marry an opposite sex individual, that's what Apostole Paul said unnatural. Or people who were born heterosexual naturally but practice homosexuality, that's what Apostole Paul said unnatural. Love is a gift from God, who deny this natural gift and prevent people in love to join in a holy matrimony is against God's will and they should be... (you fill the blank :)

Adrian, You are right in that Christians are to love others. We are even to love our enemies. Jesus would dine with tax collectors and pharisees. Yet when he was tested by their evil designs he called them a brood of vipers. It was their actions and what was in their hearts.
Please read the bible some more to get the complete context of the verses. They specifically condemn unnatural relations of a man with a man, a woman with a woman.
We are to love others which precludes discrimination and hateful actions but do not require condoning the lifestyle or accepting encroachment on the institution of marriage or the like

I do not think that the Christian Family Coalition stole the rainbow idea from the gay movemnent. The rainbow idea was God's idea. When God destroyed the earth with the flood, afterwards He put the rainbow in the sky as a reminder to all mankind that he would never destroy the earth again with a flood. Every time we see a rainbow in the sky, it should be a reminder of His love and mercy. Thanks, Diane

To Adrine and supporters. LOVE does not mean condome! The bible tells us GOD is LOVE, but GOD did and is going to destroy! In the old testament GOD told us man sould not lay with man! The LORD also spoke aginst wrongs. The bible says be imatators of christ! I tell some one I love, the truth when there doing wrong because of my christin love! THIS is the TRUTH! Ill pray for you.
