A sold-out crowd Sunday at closing night of the 11th annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, which screened Little Ashes starring Robert Pattinson as artist Salvador Dalí and Javier Beltran as poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
The film earned lots of early publicity recently, especially after Pattinson told interviewers that he was embarrassed while shooting the sexually explicit film. Turns out that in the final editing, Little Ashes showed virtually no sex between the two male leads.
"I guess I was expecting things to be more graphic," Twilight star Pattinson said Sunday in The San Francisco Chronicle.
The film was shown at the Colony Theater on Lincoln Road. Afterward, the party moved to the Shore Club Hotel on Collins Avenue.
