- Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's 2nd annual business expo, Explore/EXPO, will take place in the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL., on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 12 Noon to 8:00pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to have face-to-face contact with over three hundred businesses that will be represented at this all-day business expo. - Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's 1st MDGLCC/TASTE OF MIAMI, "Taste" sampling will take place in the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL., on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Twenty MDGLCC member restaurants will be represented; among them are Emeril's Miami Beach, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink, Perricone's Café & Marketplace, and Soyka Restaurant Café & Bar, with a Bacardi Lounge Bar, a Wine Station and a Design Within Reach Resting Area. This is a VIP Event with an entrance fee of $45.00 ($60.00 at the door) to benefit the MDGLCC Foundation Scholarship Program supporting area youth.
