A message from Bishop S.F. Makalani-MaHee:
South Florida LGBTQ Muscians will take to the stage of the Wallflower Gallery for the first annual "ROCK OUT LOUD" Rally with a purpose.
The concert will feature the best Indie Performers South Florida has to offer with Activist, Candidates (for elected office), and Elected Officials speaking on the importance of equality. In the wake of the devastating passage of Amendment 2 (the constitutional amendment that defined marriage in the State of Florida as only being between one man and one women), The still standing adoption ban, and Congress and the Senate being lobbied to repeal "Don't ask, don't tell" (the ban on "gay's" in the Military) and D.O.M.A (the so called Defense of Marriage Act that keeps LGBQ unions from being Federally recognized and protected); local Artist and Activist are thinking globally but acting locally.
Saturday, October 23, 2009 the sweet sounds of diversity and the rhythm of unity will illuminate the WallFlower Gallery from 8pm-12 am. For the mere cost of $5.00 South Florida can feast on this musical buffet.
Continue To Walk In The Light, Redefine Your Faith, And Remember It's All About The Rhythm,
