Miami Beach – April 13, 2010 – Snipping to the pulsating sounds of DJ Beau Dasher, the staff at Dee & Co. Hair Studio in Miami Beach held a “cut-a-thon” last Sunday to raise money for the upcoming Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and Expo, April 17 along Ocean Drive.  When the hairs had settled, more than $1,300 was raised by owner Dee Adames and her staff who all donated their time for the cut-a-thon.  Adames owns the studio at 826 Collins Avenue, and was the Season 2 winner of Bravo’s hit TV series, “Shear Genius.”
