Florida International University’s Stonewall Pride Alliance student group held its fourth annual Lavender Graduation ceremony on Wednesday at the Modesto Madique Campus.
I spoke to the students, along with Mario A. Rodriguez, graduate assistant for Multicultural Programs and Services; Juan Carlos Espinosa, associate dean & fellow of Honors College; Gisela Vega, associate director of Housing & Residential Life.
