Video and gallery | 'The Sum of Us' at Rising Action Theatre in Oakland Park

The other night I attended a production of The Sum of Us at Rising Action Theatre in Oakland Park. The play about a straight, widowed father and his adult gay son, was originally performed 20 years ago and became a 1994 film starring Russell Crowe.

After Thursday night’s performance, I interviewed director Steven Chambers and actors John McGlothlin, Ricardo Rodriguez, Linda Ellis and Ned Cray, and took photos of them performing scenes from the show.

The Sum of Us runs through May 20. Call 954-561-2225 for information.
