It is a blessing and a thrill today to wake up and see that Florida's LGBT leaders have honored Steve Rothaus last night -- at last -- for his powerful and probing Miami Herald lens highlighting our LGBT families, friends, co-workers and neighbors.
What south Floridians may not know, of course, is that Steve also is a national treasure, and a trusted voice everywhere in America. We thank you sincerely from all the rest of us too!
