Mike Verdugo, ex-Hollywood cop in 1990s gay porn film, loses Broward court appeal to regain old job

Mike Verdugo, the fired Hollywood cop who once appeared in a gay porn film, lost his Broward Circuit Court appeal to regain his old job, Wilton Manors attorney George Castrataro announced on Tuesday.

"The courts did not rule in my favor today, but after 2 1/2 years of fighting I am not giving up," Verdugo posted Tuesday night on his Facebook page. "Good thing is that back in August I won the case against the State (FDLE) and I am still a certified Police Officer. Now I just have to find a Police Dept that cares about my job performance and not my sexual orientation."

In August, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement ruled that Verdugo could keep his police certification.
