The 13th Annual Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival Centerpiece Films and Reception
Miami, FL - April 26, 2011 - The Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is underway with lots more to come. Join us for our Centerpiece film WHAT HAPPENS NEXT on Wednesday April 27th at 7:15 pm in The Colony Theater. This delightful romantic comedy is a cinematic aphrodisiac for everyone wondering if love will ever come their way, or make a return visit; Two gay men from two different worlds sorting through the obstacle course called “Life” find themselves on the same park bench. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT is all the neurosis and magic that makes for a good love story. Television veteran, and Golden Globe Recipient Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”, “Hot In Cleveland”) lends star power and the necessary over the top Diva performance to ensure a hit. Director Jay Arnold and lead actors, Chris Murrah and John Lindstrom will be in attendance at the screening.
Following the screening we will celebrate at our Centerpiece Reception in the Red Room of the Shore Club on 1901 Collins Avenue from 9:00 - 11:00 pm to meet the producers, directors and stars of the film. Hereʼs your chance to chat and chill with the makers of the films you love.
