The Log Cabin Republicans of Miami wish to congratulate you on your election as Mayor. At a time of great challenges to the community living in Miami-Dade we welcome your leadership and have great confidence in your abilities to address the ongoing issues we face.

We are also proud of your public commitment to families, including preservation of domestic partner benefits for County employees. While the appropriate size of county government is open to debate, no one should deny equal treatment to its employees and their families.
