On Sunday, New York became the sixth state to allow same-sex couples to marry. Even before the weddings took place, both the Miami and Broward convention and visitors bureaus began advertising for newly married gay and lesbian couples to honeymoon in South Florida.
In Nov. 2008, Florida voters passed a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman and banning same-sex marriages and civil unions. Also, the state doesn't recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere.
Poll: Would you honeymoon in a state where your new marriage is banned by constitutional amendment?
