An important message from Susanna Taddei about a screening of the documentary, Life @ the End, and conversation afterward Monday night at Temple Israel of Greater Miami:
Jennifer Molina (Executive Producer), Elizabeth Schwartz (attorney specializing in GLBT legal issues) and myself will be participating in the event and the panel discussion afterwards. Aqua Foundation, Equality Florida and MGLFF (who will be screening the film during the Ft Lauderdale GLFF in October) will be our partners for the event. The documentary is 30 min long and one of the stories (mine) deals with the special issues a gay couple might confront when facing a terminal illness. The website of the film will also have information about it and a list of legal documents and other tools essential for unmarried couples.
This is an invaluable opportunity to engage the GLBT community about the difficult end-of-life issues and be able to ask questions to a panel of experts.
