Amazon under fire for carrying calendar titled 'I'm Not Gay, I'm Just a Sissy: 12 Months of Sexual Confusion'

imnotgay cover GLAAD is calling on Amazon.com to stop selling "a highly offensive and anti-LGBT calendar" by Christian cartoonist Joe King titled I'm Not Gay, I'm Just a Sissy: 12 Months of Sexual Confusion.

Among the 12 monthly cartoons: "We All Have AIDS," "Bareback," and "Queen for a Day."

Barnes & Noble.com stopped selling the calendar after an item appeared Tuesday on Towleroad.com, according to GLAAD.

Frankly it's sad when we can't laugh at ourselves-yes it's a truly tasteless calendar-but many choices we sometimes make are "tasteless" --was the calendar meant to be a "classic"? I think it was meant to be fun----sad that the "GLAAD" coolition(SP) raised their hairy arm pits against this silliness! If you had lousy sales this would by itself make more recognition for you--Nothing like bad publicity to generate sales---
