Indiana OKs license tag to benefit gay youth group

Indiana has just authorized a specialty license plate to support the Indiana Youth Group for LGBT young people.

From the youth group's website:

Beginning in February 2012, the Indiana Youth Group (IYG) specialty license plate will be available! This specialty plate costs an additional $40 with $25 directly benefitting IYG! All of the generated funds go directly to serve over 1300 LGBT youth throughout Indiana annually. IYG operates an activity center in Indianapolis, works with Gay Straight Alliances in over 35 high schools throughout the state, and provides many LGBT cultural competency trainings for schools, social service agencies, and other community groups. IYG saves lives; IYG changes lives.

THANKS to everyone who signed petitions to make this happen. (It only took 3 applications and a law suit!)
