Report: Bogota, Colombia, mayor appoints city's first transgender public official

pinero The first transgender public official has been appointed in Bogota, Colombia, according to Colombia Reports:

In an interview with El Espectador, newly-appointed director Tatiana Piñero expressed her admiration for Bogota's new Mayor Gustavo Petro, and his support for LGBT issues.
