Film 'Silence is Death: Unheard Voices' to be screened Sunday at Wolfsonian-FIU

From SAVE Dade:

SILENCE IS DEATH: UNHEARD VOICES (USA, 2010, Chay Johnson, 45 min)—Johnson shines the light upon the issues of gay Black men and the problems that lead to the highest rates of HIV infection of all social groups. The film scrutinizes the role played by Black churches in stifling the discussion of AIDS by refusing to acknowledge the sexuality of some of its people.

Admission to the film and reception is free; however, RSVP is required to http://tinyurl.com/DefendingOurIdentities  or contact SAVE Dade at 305.751.7283. For information about The Wolfsonian-FIU, please contact the box office at 305.531.1001.
