A sold-out crowd packed a Hilton Miami Downtown ballroom Thursday for the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's first State of Our Community luncheon.

Gay State of Our Community lunch 019The audience of 200 gave Bower a standing ovation when she publicly signed on to the national Mayors for the Freedom to Marry campaign, after attorney Richard Milstein presented pledge forms to the four mayors.
