Hundreds of moviegoers packed the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road for the closing night screening of the 14th annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
Closing night film: North Sea, Texas from Belgium. From the film festival website:
Pim lives with his ex-beauty queen, single mother in a small town on the Belgian coast. As a teenager, he grows infatuated with Gino, the boy next door and his motorcycling hero. His first love seems destined to end in disappointment. When Zoltan, a hunky young man from the fun-fair starts dating Pim's mother, he seizes the opportunity to leave and moves in with Gino's family, but alas, Gino is romancing and living with a girl from across the border. It seems Pim's dreams will never come true, but then one rainy day Gino returns home.
After the screening, guests ventured to Dream South Beach hotel for a closing-night party.
