AutoblogGreen reports that Chevrolet took out the above ad to celebrate Motor City Pride last weekend in Detroit:
The subject was that potentially difficult moment in a young car's life, when it needs to tell it parents the truth. In the ad, a Chevy Volt comes out of the closet to say, "Mom, dad, I'm electric.

This is a pretty daring concept. I feel as though they are limiting there consumer segment with this type of advertising. Oh well, it won't change my opinion on Chevrolet. I just bought a brand new impala from Chevy Grand Rapids and am absolutely in love with that car. Comfortable, powerful, and mostly hassle-free. I hope that this advertisement doesn't hurt the companies reputation.
