Oscar-winning actress Celeste Holm dies at 95; co-starred in 'Oklahoma!', 'All About Eve', 'Cinderella'

Theater, film and TV legend Celeste Holm died Sunday at age 95 in her New York City apartment.

Holm, who won fame as the original Ado Annie in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! (1943), also won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her work in Gentleman's Agreement (1947).

She also co-starred in All About Eve (opposite Bette Davis and Anne Baxter); High Society (with Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra) and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (introducing Lesley Ann Warren).

In her later years, Holm was married to a former waiter more than 45 years her junior and estranged from her two adult sons.

Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll: I can't be gay because I'm married and 'black women that look like me' aren't lesbians

Giggling nervously, Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll spoke publicly for the first time on Saturday about allegations from a former aide that she caught Carroll having lesbian sex with another female aide.

Speaking to Channel 10 News in Tampa Bay -- at the opening of Mitt Romney's campaign headquarters there -- Carroll explained that she couldn't be gay because she's been married to a man for 29 years ("My husband doesn't want to hear that. He knows the type of woman I am. I mean, my kids know the type of woman I am") and that -- giggling -- "usually black women that look like me don't engage in relationships like that." Giggle.
