From A. Jay 'Andy' Eddy of Broward Log Cabin Republicans, who are in Tampa for the GOP national convention :
Florida's Log Cabin Council of Clubs hosted a private fun-filled gathering at the Rusty Pelican Restaurant for 135 invited guests and dignitaries. Those who attended the Tampa event were in Florida for the 2012 GOP National Convention. The guests enjoyed a full open bar, a carving station with a choice of meats, and an array of other tasty delights on a beautifully decorated buffet table.

Well, it's a good thing that they ate well at their event, because the GOP hasn't even given them table scraps. Here's a quote from the NYTimes regarding the party's platform:
"The draft document is more aggressive in its opposition to women’s reproductive rights and to gay rights than any in memory. It accuses President Obama and the federal judiciary of “an assault on the foundations of our society,” and calls for constitutional amendments banning both same-sex marriage and abortion."
