South Florida Gay News requests reader photos for 'Day in the Life of Gay South Florida' picture issue

Message from Norm Kent, publisher of South Florida Gay News:

You can be a star in next month's newspaper when we publish SFGN's annual picture issue of 'A Day in the Life of Gay South Florida.' No matter where you or your partner are, from the shower to sunset, from the beach to a bar, from work to a walk, take a photograph of your life and send it to our editor in chief, jason.parsley@sfgn.com, including times, names, and places.........Counting on you, our readers, to make the paper happen.

Norm says to submit any photo taken today, Nov. 17.

Gallery | LGBTQA students hold mixer at FIU

LGBTQA students, faculty and allies held a mixer Friday evening at Florida International University's in the Graham Center at Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

There are seven active LGBTQA campus clubs and organizations at FIU:

• ΔΛΦ - Delta Lambda Phi
• FIU LGBTQA Access & Equity Subcommittee
• GLBT Advocacy Coalition
• MPAS LGBT Initiatives
• Rainbow Panthers
• Stonewall Legal Alliance
• Stonewall Pride Alliance

Students participate in FIU activities, as well as the greater South Florida community, including Miami Beach Gay Pride.
