John Ruark of Miami Beach on Sunday hosted a post-election briefing by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force featuring Stacey Long, the Task Force's director of Public Policy and Government Affairs.
"We're the organization who's putting its voice toward LGBT equality and social justice and beyond," Long told about two dozen gay leaders and allies from throughout South Florida. She discussed issues including immigration, marriage and workplace protections.
