Members of the LGBT Log Cabin Republicans of Miami club, including co-chair Miriam 'Mimi' Planas, attended a meeting Tuesday of Miami Young Republicans at The Globe in Coral Gables.
Jeb Bush Jr., younger son of Florida's former governor, was featured speaker at the meeting. From the Young Republicans' website:
Jeb is the founder of SUNPAC, a new organization dedicated to Hispanic conservative outreach. He's also active in The LIBRE Initiative, which pursues the advancement of economic freedom. As the son of a popular former governor, nephew of one President of the United States and grandson of another, he has a unique perspective coming from a family known for dedication to public service.
