She's an incredible talent and I respect her for who she is and what she does. I especially appreciate her point about her private life being exactly that, private and it is for her and her family. I'm not really sure why everyone needs to look to Hollywood for heroes and idols and, I think, hidden in her words was the message not to look to her for either. Last, it's great to hear that after all those years in the business she's still grounded in reality and seems quite humble.

Yes...she eats at the Y.

Jodie foster is a "CLASS ACT", the fact she is gay, is not news, I guess what it is news to some is that "is not any of their business"

I like Jodie , but wonder why she felt the need to reaffirm what everyone knew .

Really , who cares these days ?

She sounded manic, like she was on the verge of a breakdown.
