Video | On 20th anniversary, Winter Party 2013 VIP reception honors the organization's four founders

Miami-Dade's LGBT community honors Winter Party founders Dennis Leyva, Clark Reynolds, Ignacio Martinez-Ybor and Stewart Stein on March 9, 2013, at the festival's VIP reception at The Gale on South Beach.

The four are introduced by festival chairman Derek Yee and Vice Chairman Victor Diaz-Herman.

Winter Party Festival benefits the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, which donates two-thirds of the profits to LGBT nonprofits in South Florida.

Thousands jammed Lummus Park in South Beach on Sunday for the 20th annual Winter Party, which benefits the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and LGBT nonprofits throughout South Florida.

Since 1994, the one-day party has morphed into a weeklong festival for men and women raising about $2 million for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender nonprofits in South Florida.

James Franco to attend 2013 Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival for screening of 'Interior. Leather Bar'

Big news! James Franco will attend the upcoming 15th Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, where he will receive an Ally Award on April 28 and his new film Interior. Leather Bar will be screened sometime during the festival.

Franco and Travis Mathews star, direct and produce the film, a reimagining of 40 minutes of explicit gay sexual content cut from the 1980 Al Pacino film, Cruising.

The festival runs April 26 to May 5, 2013.

Attorney Wood Kinnard is festival board chairman; Franc Castro is executive director.

The event's honorary hosts: Miami artist Rubem Robierb and his husband, Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion.

Also in attendance: Rea Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the group that produces Winter Party Festival and donates two-thirds of the profits to LGBT nonprofits in South Florida.
