The Daily Mail reports that Britain's Queen Elizabeth II will give an historic speech on Sunday in which she will for the first time "pledge to promote gay rights and ‘gender equality’ in one of the most controversial acts of her reign."
Also, the Daily Mail reports that the Queen will promote "empowerment" of women, hinting that if grandson Prince William and wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, have a daughter in about four months, the baby girl could become future monarch even if she is followed by a brother.
