Miami-Dade's LGBT community honored Winter Party founders Dennis Leyva, Clark Reynolds, Ignacio Martinez-Ybor and Stewart Stein on Saturday at the festival's VIP reception at The Gale on South Beach. (Click here to read why they began Winter Party.)
The event's honorary hosts: Miami artist Rubem Robierb and his husband, Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion.
Also in attendance: Rea Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the group that produces Winter Party Festival and donates two-thirds of the profits to LGBT nonprofits in South Florida.
