Miami Herald "Lunch With Lydia" columnist Lydia Martin and Miami Beach family and estate-planning attorney Elizabeth Schwartz on Friday celebrated their recent marriage with an Oneg Shabbat at Temple Israel of Greater Miami.

Temple Rabbi Tom Heyn, in prayer shawl, and guest cantorial soloist Andrew David Susman presided over the Sabbath evening service, which was followed by a celebratory reception hosted by temple members Martin and Schwartz.

The longtime South Florida couple wed July 19 in Vermont.
