“Faces of Continuum” Artists Reception
Portraits by Jeff Larson and Sean Black in South Beach

ArtsUnited is holding a reception at the LGBT Visitor Center in South Beach on Friday October 25th, 5:00 – 8:00pm, for the “Faces of Continuum,” exhibition. The show features portraits by renowned artists Jeff Larson and Sean Black. All are invited to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

Using large scale photography, Larson explores his idea of “the everyman.” He received critical acclaim for his series “Men in Living Rooms” and “Jesus and the Apostles.” He is an Adjunct Lecturer at FAU and the University of Miami. His work is in the permanent collection of the Kinsey Institute of Sexuality and the Arts and Sciences College at the University of Miami.

The thought provoking work of journalist, artist and activist Sean Black strives to document life and explore the human experience. Black is Editor at Large for A&U, America’s AIDS Magazine, and is an adjunct instructor at Eastern Florida State College. His work has been published internationally and been shown in numerous national exhibitions.
